For paying as much as I did I expected better. I asked for a consultation before surgery date and was refused several times. The consultation before surgery was a NIGHTMARE. 6 random people came in and the assistant took off my hospital gown without even introductions and started getting to work drawing on me without saying a word. I was shocked. In the end I didn’t explain what I wanted and got a completely different result. The recovery in the hospital was painful but okay, the nurses didn’t speak a word of English so explaining anything to them was a challenge but they tried their best. As soon as I was discharged from hospital they stopped caring. It takes 4 days for the assistant to reply, I felt horrible and needed heart/blood medicine and they just ignored the question. When I went to get my drains removed I passed out because they were being so rough with yanking everything out and ripping plasters off….. It’s day 20 and my stomach is still gathering liquid and I have to aspirate it myself… two of my friends had bbls with amazing results and they never had to go through this. This just seems far more hassle and pain than it’s worth. There are better doctors out there.
