Office review: they took my $250 deposit and disappeared

So I have decided to go with Dr Wendell and my coordinator was nice and caring but as soon as I gave my deposit, all communication ends. First, I have asked her to let me speak with the doctor so that I can discuss a concern of mine before traveling all the way out to Florida for surgery. I was told that he would get back to me. It has been over 3 months and no one has gotten back to me. I have called the office several times and no one answered. Then I have received an email saying that my surgery has been canceled so I reply back to the email and let them know that I have questions and waiting on the doctor to call me back. But still no call back, so Ive realized that this doctor really doesn't care about his patient and then I have decided not to go. My safety comes first.
This is crazy, you send pics to your coordinator and then they quickly responded to you saying that you are candidate for surgery. To be honest I don't even think that the surgeon is the one evaluating these pics. I think this is such an unsafe practice, going all the way to Florida for surgery and not able to talk to a doctor. As soon as you give them your deposit, all communications ends. They took my $250 deposit and disappeared. Beware guys, I have seen reviews like this on his site and have ignored and now they have robbed me my deposit. I have asked my bank to reverse the fees and they have the nerve to claim it back.
