Today is my BBL day!

Hi everyone! Today is my BBL day! I have been following this site religiously (as I’m sure most of us) to prep for the day. My surgery is at 10:30am but been up since 5am due to my nerves. So far my interactions have been great with Dr. Shifrin. The only thing I didn’t like was that I didn’t get to see him during my pre-op appt. The offered to have him come in but I said it was okay. I do understand thought because I used to work in the OR and I know it’s only actually necessary to see the patient before the actual operation unless the patient has emergent questions beforehand. I will leave my “wish pics” here! I am wanting a pretty plump booty and also a dramatic hourglass figure. My starting weight is 160lbs (gain ~10lbs), 5’5 ft. I already have pretty nice curves naturally but I wanted to make my booty bigger! First 2 pics are my body and next 2 are wish pics. I am scared for the pain and overall discomfort. Also worried about how I’m not going to be able to stand at work! Anyways, will update once I’m out of surgery!

Hi everyone so surgery is done and so thankful that nothing bad happened. PTL!! So during my markups Dr Shifrin didn’t really ask what I wanted, he just kinda marked me up, I wish I had been a little more vocal about what I wanted but he said I have a smaller frame and will make my booty nice and plump for my frame! As soon as I woke up from the surgery the nurse asked if she wanted me to call my boyfriend. I said yes and fell asleep again. I woke up again to my boyfriends voice and IMMEDIATELY started sobbing. I was scared bc I didn’t know where I was or how I got there, pain, and freaking freezing. I cried a good 2-3 minutes and was soooo relieved that my bf was there. At first being cold was worse than the pain plus I had to pee so I was just an unhappy camper. I went back in the OR around 1 and I woke up at 5:30ish. The nurse helped me sit on the side of the bed and as soon as I got up a POOL of blood came out of my back and butt incisions. I was so wet everywhere omg. The nurse helped put my pants and shirt in on then I walked to the bathroom to pee. I honestly think squating/peeing isn’t bad for me because I didn’t get thigh lips. Literally props to the ppl who get thigh lipo, I feel for y’all!!! As I got up from the wheel chair to the car my face was so pale and I definitely felt woozy. The car ride was very uncomfortable to say the least. I got home and laid down multiple pads because you will drain A LOT the first few hours. I definitely recommend getting those back rest pillows If you get arm lipo like me. The first few times I needed help getting up and once felt nauseous when I took my arm band off for a second because my arm was swelling soooo much. Laying down and water helped. I’ve only been wearing a huge tshirt and no undies but keeping a pad over my butt then my blanket. Your incisions are open to drain and around midnight I just put small bandages on them to help keep out bacteria. Ok so getting to specifics:
Bathroom: take a colace or any stool softener right as you get home, don’t wait till the next day or you will be constipated ( I only did this bc I’m a nurse and use my nursing judgement). I’ve been gassy but no stool yet. Buy a female urinal!!! I don’t use it bc I can’t squat but because if I pee without it, my pee kinda goes near my incision site which is a huge part of getting an infection! I’ve been pressing the urinal hard so that not a single drop leaks. Pooping wise I’ve tried a few times and put a towel on the edge so my butt is lifted.
Pain: no pain but more intense soreness. Right now it’s my arms and belly and back when I move/get up. You gotta utilize your shoulders to lift yourself.
Bleeding: you will bleed... a lot. Right now I’m bleeding in the arms the most bc I use it the most. The bleeding in my back and stomach stopped.
Caregiver: YOU WILL NEED ONE. Especially someone you are comfortable with. I could not imagine doing this with someone I’m embarrassed to see naked/bleeding/peeing etc. you will have to grab you stuff endlessly and change you pads, hear you farting at all times of the day whether it’s 1pm or 5am.
Sleeping: you’ll make up every few hours from positioning so I’ve been sleeping maybe every 2-3 hours then stand/walk 5-10 mins then back to bed and fall asleep watching tv. Keep a small light on!
Size: so my size is perfect right now. Booty is plump and wait is snatched. I’m excited to see it during my post op appointment. However I wish this was the size it was AFTER swelling. I know it’ll shrink so kinda sad bc any smaller and I might think “dang should’ve gotten it bigger” but let’s see what happens in the following weeks!! No idea how much was put in yet. Plus now I can totally understand why girls want round 2 lol but still debating...
