Surgeon Changed Without Consent and Refund Dispute

I paid $8,000 on June 15, 2022 for cosmetic surgery at Seduction Cosmetic Center / Svelta Plastic Surgery in Coral Gables, Florida. My surgery was originally scheduled with Dr. Narayanan Nair.

While reviewing my patient portal before the procedure, I discovered that the surgeon assigned to perform my surgery had been changed to Dr. Keith Robertson. I was never notified of this change and did not give consent for a different surgeon to perform the procedure.

Because of this, I cancelled my surgery and requested a refund. Despite cancelling the procedure and sending a certified demand letter, the clinic has continued contacting me to confirm surgery dates rather than addressing my refund request.

I have filed formal complaints with the Florida Department of Health and the Agency for Health Care Administration regarding this matter.

Patients should carefully review all details of their agreement and confirm the identity of the surgeon performing their procedure.
