Starting off 2020 with a new body!

Hi all!
I want to start off by giving thanks to the hundreds of reviews on this site because without it I would have probably never had the courage to go through with this and think it was a realistic thing for me to do! I am scheduled for a BBL about a month from today in December 2019. I am 23 years old and I don't have any children. I am 5'5" and weigh about 144 today. This is the heaviest I have been. Usually I weight anywhere from 125-135. About 8 months ago I decided I was serious about this procedure and decided to gain the weight.. I am looking for natural results with still an added OOMPH. I'm not so much concerned with volume as opposed to being shaped very particularly, think Draya's body. I have huge love handles those have always been my problem area and what originally started this journey. I originally wanted to only get them lipoed but I decided to go all out! Keep me in your prayers so that everything goes smoothly and my vision can be manifested.

You chose an excellent surgeon for bbl. I am one year out from my bbl with Dr. Dass and am still very pleased with results. I know you are in good hands.

Hi hi!! Thank you for asking! I'm hanging in here, pain is totally manageable but drainage is a whole other thing. I will post an update with before pics hopefully by this weekend :))

Post Op!

So it’s been almost 24 hours since my surgery was completed. Going in I was very nervous but it literally felt like I blinked while on the OR table and I woke up and it was all finished. I wasn’t really in pain when I woke up, it just felt like extreme soreness. Later throughout the day I never felt excruciating pain either, it was totally manageable. The worst part of this process is the drainage. I have drained a lot. It’s very uncomfortable to live in a consistent state of feeling soaked. Peeing is also a little bit of an ordeal but I found the best way to go is to spread your legs and stand directly on top on your toilet bowl and just let it go, I am going to get a female urinal device for help. I cannot wait to shower tomorrow. I am trying not to focus on how gross I feel. So far I can’t really tell I have a lot of swelling as I’m very compressed by my faja. We decided on doing lipo on the sides of my belly but not the actual abdomen because I really wanted to avoid bumps, discoloration and ripples in my midsection. I did gain a little too much weight so I definitely have a little belly going on but I’m not too concerned about that. My biggest goal in this is the removal of my huge love handles and the better shape that’ll hopefully come with it. I’m attached a before pic for reference later.

Yes!! You are speaking on what I am always wondering about. I'm always wondering about the lipo lumps. I just want a small(er) waist and ill keep a little belly. I'm excited to see your results! Glad you're not too uncomfortable.

Thank you boo!! Feel free to ask questions whenever throughout the different stages of the process. Yes if you're more on the petite side I feel like that's the way to go! I'll keep you updated about any lipo bumps once I finally get a peek in there!

First shower!
cottoncandyskiessDecember 21, 2019
First of all, I have never in my life been so grateful to shower. Draining today, Day 3, hasn’t been as crazy as it was the last two days. I still haven’t had a BM so I’m pretty nervous for that. I definitely feel more swollen today. I got my first peek at my body today. The showering was not as difficult as I had expected. I only needed help taking off the faja and putting it back on, along with the bandaids and Neosporin/Arnica. I got a little nauseous for the first time but have not taken the anti nausea meds because I believe the body heals better naturally. That’s been my motto with the percocets as well. I am peeing like every two hours. Ideally I would’ve started taking my stool softeners last night so I could’ve gone to the bathroom right before the shower soooo don’t be like me and make that mistake. I also have been sleeping in max 3 hour intervals but I feel I find myself feeling better being up and walking.
