Slim thick BBL

Im 5’1, 157 lbs
Im scheduled for April 12, in MEDELLÍN Colombia with Dr. Hector Garcia. I’m coming from NEW YORK. Im having full body lipo + BBL [brazilian butt lift], chin lipo + buccal fat removal.
This has been something i have been researching for 4-5 years. My self image and body consciousness has always been something i struggled with. For a long time i focused on the idea of “self love” and what that meant to me and made sure that my decision initially will make me happy and it wasn’t something i was doing just to do it. It was a hard decision to also make because i dont want an exaggerated look, people’s opinion matter very little when you are doing something from your heart for your betterment but we are human and the thought of judgement can be weighing.

I initially wanted to get a breast lift and augmentation + bbl.
Doing thorough research i discovered that the implant brand mentor [which is the only brand the Dr. uses] had multiple open lawsuits here in the united states plus several disturbing videos of the mentor implant basically not living up to the standard i would expect of an object im leaving in my body for several years.
*sidenote as of feb 6 2019 fda announced that ALL implants can lead to cancer, this is a public article you can google on your own time*
My decision was to not have anything done to my breast, 1 because the brand i preffered [arion] could not be made available to me and from continuous research lead me to feel more comfortable with that decision.

Wanted to share the post op materials I purchased before my trip and a packing list for reference. I'm sure most things can be purchased in Colombia at a cheaper price but when you are coming into a foreign country it can be a little difficult to get around if you aren't familiar and don't speak the language.

I purchased:
booty pillow, u- curve pillow:
ideal for sitting, rest and sleep immediately after a bbl

urinal:
you'll have to wear a faja everyday after lipo this makes it easier to use the bathroom

ab board, back board:
these are placed in your faja to help with compression and keeping your tummy and back flat

chux pads:
the recovery house I'm staying in provides them so I recommend them if you're staying in an air bnb, you'll have fluid coming out and don't want to dirty the bed and anything valuable with blood and fluid.

Soft foam board to use a couple days after surgery also helps with compression [usually provided by dr]

Arnica gel + pills:
Helps with pain post op

Dr. Garcia works with Medtour recovery house located mins away from his clinics here in medellin.
The owners are very kind and attentive and also speak English if needed. i’ve been here since Mon 4/8-4/22. They have different room options depending on what you prefer and your budget. I purchased the premium room package for $99 a night. That includes them picking you up from the airport and taking back when you leave, assisting you at all your appointments, the recovery house has a nurse available 24/7, they feed you 3 meals a day and your post op massages are also available here. My room has a queen size bed, private bathroom, PORTABLE ac, and a fan. During the month of April it is winter here the weather feels like spring weather so the portable ac and fan makes the room pretty chilly. They have a huge common area and the place itself is pretty big. They have a gate to enter its very safe.
