The recovery for this surgery has been interesting. After taking a pain killer during the ride home I haven't had any pain whatsoever, I haven't had to take any more pills. The first 4 days or so I was very stiff and it took forever to walk anywhere but I was able to be mobile when I needed to and I could cook for myself and everything like that. I have a high pain tolerance though - my BA recovery also went smoothly.
That being said, this isn't a surgery to be taken lightly. 6 weeks of no sitting!!! When I signed up for this I thought I was like the pinnacle of human health or something, I thought I wouldn't miss sitting....yeah now I've begun fantasizing about sitting down. Trust me, you're going to miss sitting. My recommendations: a female urination device will be your new best friend, be sure you have lots of pillows so that you can play around with propping yourself up, and don't be afraid to go out to restaurants when you're ready. You need to get out of the house to maintain sanity. When I've gone out to eat I'll just stand at the table with a knee propped up on a chair. I was initially hesitant but it turns out the world doesn't revolve around me and everyone is paying more attention to their own life anyway.
The hardest part for me has been eating 100 grams of protein a day. I've never been a big eater - in part because I have a small stomach but mostly because I'm a terrible cook haha. I stocked up on tofu, beans, soy milk, peanut butter, nuts, edamame, and protein powder, which are all things I eat regularly anyway but now I'm trying to double my portion sizes and it's making me hate food :(
So is it worth it? I'm going to hold my final judgment until I pass the 6 week mark. Some days I don't see a difference, other days I love my new body. I didn't have that much fat so I tried to come into this surgery with low expectations but it's easy to get lost looking through pictures of perfect bodies. Unfortunately I already wish my butt was a bit bigger and it'll probably get smaller over the next month
Whether it does or it doesn't, I'm glad I went with Dr. Hughes. He's a skilled doctor and I'm so, so grateful that my stomach is smooth. That was probably my biggest fear. I've seen a lot of lumpy stomach horror stories on realself, from girls who have gone to cheap surgeons and those who have gone to the big shots in Beverly Hills.

Day of treatment
I made it!
I'm now home, thank god. No pain whatsoever - not because I'm a strong person, but because I have good drugs. The first half of the 2.5 hour car ride home was very uncomfortable and slightly painful in my inner thighs. I took a pain killer and was able to fall asleep almost immediately.
I wen up my stairs perfectly fine, took a nap, made myself a protein shake, and I'm about to go to bed again! Will update in a day or two. I'm curious how many ccs the doctor was able to get out. I ended up weighing less than I thought I did - I was 115 at time of surgery.

I chose Dr. Hughes because I went to him for my breast augmentation and I thought he did a great job and he's very easy to get in contact with. I emailed him months after my BA surgery with questions and he responded within hours, just as he did before my surgery.
I'm 5"4 and 117 pounds. I actually gained weight for this surgery - it was my justification to stop working out and start eating ice cream haha. Anyway, I don't many women with my body type in the BBL reviews so I thought I'd contribute back to the community - I've been reading reviews like crazy, they make me feel so much more prepared!
I'll be having lipo 360, as well as inner thighs and chin. I'm still debating on adding my arms. There's not much fat there but I don't have a lot of fat in general so I want to add as much as possible. On the other hand, $1,800. If anyone has an opinion, please let me know! I'm so indecisive.
