4 months Post Op!
I’m now 4 and a half months post op. I’m able to sit on my butt now BUT if it’s for a long period of time it does get a little tingly feeling back there. I’m still healing so that’s probably what it is. I love my results!! Some of the volume has gone down since surgery but that’s okay. It’s WAY better than what I DIDNT have before lol I can lay on my back comfortably. But again if I lay on it for toooo long it does start feeling tingly and weird. I can lay on my sides for little whiles now too. I stopped getting my lymphatic drainage massages back in April. I felt like I was fine to do them myself at home. I’m still always wearing my faja and a cincher. I will probably always wear a cincher. I don’t sleep with my faja on—I do however wear it from 8 am to 8 pm. I don’t really notice any swelling anymore. I’m sure I still get swollen but it’s not as bad as the first couple of months. I do notice that when I wake up in the mornings my stomach looks amazing. Other than that it’s been great! I love the way I look now. I’m always looking at myself in the mirror now lol sometimes a little too much and I start noticing little things here and there—Like the volume going down and all that. But like I said it’s better than before!
One week post op!!
I’m one week post op today. 90% of bruising has gone away. By body just feels tight. My butt and hips feel like I’m wearing jeans that are 2 sizes too small lol I don’t really have pain. The “pain” I feel is mainly the tenderness from the bruising and lipo. My ribs feel the most bruised although I have no bruising there. That may be painful for some but for me it isn’t —i have a high pain tolerance. The other thing is the constant headaches. It feels like a constant tension headache at the base of my head/neck. I still haven’t gone “number 2”. I’ve eaten prunes, taken almost all of the laxatives the dr prescribed and I even went ahead and took the magnesium stuff. That usually clears me out within 3-6 hours and it did absolutely nothing—Which was very surprising.
One thing that I have heard NO ONE talk about is elbow and knee burn from blankets & stuff. I don’t know how I would even prevent that from happening but I just wish I would have known to mentally prepare for that lol! I lost my measuring tape so I’m so upset that I’m not able to measure how much has gone down from my hips and waist. Sleeping is uncomfortable and I also think the headaches might be from not being able to sleep very well. Besides that, everything is healing and going very well. Well see how it goes next week when I switch to my stage 2 faja haha!

2 days post op!
I’m 2 days post op and I’m feeling great. I just feel soreness. No other pain. I have really high tolerance for pain so that could be why. I took the Percocet prescribed but stopped after the first night because it made my head hurt really bad. That was with me only taking half of one, so I don’t even want to imagine how I would have felt taking a whole one. The only issue I’m facing right now is using the restroom. I can’t go and it’s making my stomach hurt to the point where im nauseous. I was able to shower today and taking off and putting the faja on was not too bad. It did hurt but I didn’t struggle much or get that dizziness that I’ve read about. I did get a bit swollen while it was off. My sister does cavitation and those types of massages so I asked her to do a gentle lymphatic massage on me. It wasn’t too bad either. My skin was tender but nothing seriously painful. From all the things I’ve read and videos I’ve watched I have been expecting the most excruciating pain, but luckily there hasn’t been any and I hope there won’t be lol I’m excited to see what my end result will look like! Still can’t believe I went through with it and go it done!!
