I scheduled my BBL surgery...but might have to postpone!!

Hello ladies my name is Tiffany. I wanted to be apart of RealSelf to let those ladies know what my experience is thus far. My BBL is booked for Tuesday May 14, 2019. With Dr. Johnathan Fisher at Jolie plastic surgery. I’m 5’3 and weight 182 pounds. I will know this Friday if I have to postpone my surgery due to my hemoglobin levels (iron) being low. Right now it’s currently at 11.9 it needs to be a minimum of 12. (12 and up) im currently doubling up on my iron pills along with stool softeners and Floradix (liquid iron) I will also purchase blood builder pills too and just continue to eat things that will help with my iron. Im praying for a miracle and hope that with in a day (well 2 days) that my levels jump up a point if not more. If not l, then it’s okay.... I just have to reschedule and pray that my levels goes up on my rescheduled date. Prior to this I was always taking my iron pills. But I wasn’t informed of how important it is to make sure it is up for surgery like I was informed for my BMI requirements and other requirements for this surgery. However I been waiting and planning and researching since 2016 so if this is a requirement it’s no big deal. I will get my hemoglobin levels where it needs to be and pray for the best. I will keep you ladies posted and will post something again tomorrow.

Hello ladies. I’m super excited that I can keep my original surgery date which is Tuesday May 14, 2019. My hemoglobin levels (iron) jump up to 12.3 from 11.9. When I say I was like EXCITED I was screaming like I won something. I really did not want to reschedule my surgery but if I had to then I had no choice. I love Dr.Fisher work and did not want to choose nor look for another doctor. I heard nothing but great things from him. His energy from what I see is amazing. And I need and want that. So I would have waited if I needed too. But lucky I don’t! That Floradix (liquid iron) worked for me in literally 24hrs. Because I had to send my labs in on Friday being that I was flying out on Monday. I didn’t take the recommended doses. I took 20ml three or four times a day. I was determined ladies. Just because it went up I’m still not slacking. I will continue to take this form of iron up to the day I go in and after my surgery. I’m actually going to go to the vitamin shop after work to get two more bottles of this. I’m just excited with joy that I can keep my date. So all I’m doing this weekend is packing and preparing myself for surgery this Monday.

Hello ladies. Sorry for the long wait but I needed time to get myself In order. I completed my 360 LIPO and BBL. and I must say I love love love my results. Dr. fisher is nothing but amazing and will make you feel comfortable. Beside me waiting literally all day in pre op for him to mark me and stuff due to the surgery before mines she had a mommy make over. Everything was great. After the longest wait ever, he came in we talked, he made me feel comfortable, I showed him wish pictures etc. I literally did not have to tell him what I wanted. It’s like he already know and I like that. A doctor who knows what it is he is doing! However me still being me I added little extras and made sure we wait the same page. All in all I love everything about my body now. The massages ladies ARE NEEDED I can not stress that enough. It helps with the liquid to come out your body, the swellen, and of course makes you move around a bit more better. I paid for ten massage and after the first 4 ( I do two a day) so after the second day ladies I was feeling great. Occasionally pain here and there but nothing that I can not tolerate. (Everyone is different). You also have to make sure you walk around and move. Today May 17,2019 I was walking up and down the mall at a slow and steady paste. after like about and hour and a half of shopping and walking o was getting tired and called it a day. The day after my surgery May 15, 2019 I was walking back and fourth in my hotel room and hall ways. Just so my bod can get back to normal. Walking ladies and drinking water and the massage and whatever else the doctor say is important. T only thing I can not do is bend down and lift my leg up so high. Other then that I’m moving around.
