Not satisfied - left with scars and huge lump on my thigh

Hi ladies so I was told yesterday by Dowbak’s assistant I was not able to get a revision and it would be 6,000 for bbl (which I do not want) and 4,000 for lipo 360. Now.... at this point I’m beyond frustrated..... no one wants to take responsibility not Spectrum not even the Surgeon. What part of I want this lump removed off my leg don’t y’all get!! I went to Dowbak hoping to get a hour glass shape. A bbl and lipo 360 was done. I never asked for fat to be transferred to the front of my thigh. While the doctor is living her best life I’m carrying around a humongous lump on my leg. I paid 4,500.00 for what?..... that’s right, body disfigurement!! So I’ll be damned if I pay another 4grand to remove something I never asked for. Every time I call they don’t answer the response is I’m with a patient. I called into New Life the other day the rude lady said what do you want I politely said I would like the number to Dr. Dowbak’s office she responds and says I don’t know it what do you wanna get done......So what’s really going on now?!?!

Terrible patient care!! Sorry you are going through this. I hate hearing that a doctor has so little disrespect and disregard for their patients!!!!!!!!

I feel bad about your experience. I know weight loss is difficult but I would suggest trying to lose weight before getting a revision. It sounds to me like you’re going to need a revision in order to get the best results. Unfortunately sometimes our bodies don’t live up to our expectations. So as far as the dark scars I would consider consulting with another surgeon about scar revision or other methods you can use to reduce the appearance of darkness. I had a Tummy tuck in 2013 with liposuction the initial results were great but over time I gained weight in my abdomen again and when I noticed the changes to my body I did something about it, I stated Keto and now my body looks as good as it did post surgically. You look like you’d be a great candidate for a Tummy tuck if you would like my surgeons information I’d be happy to share with you. He is very friendly and also in the Miami area, older board certified plastic surgeon, he doesn’t need a lot of hype about his work to keep patients coming and his prices are quite reasonable. My plan is to go back in December to have BBL and liposuction on my flanks and arms, $4500 is the cost. Let me know if you’d like more information. I think you’ll get the results you’re looking for, this practice is not a chop shop and cares about the patients.

Frustrated!!!

Still no change the lump is still here. I contacted the doctor through Instagram and the doctor gave me a number and told me to tell the young lady I needed a revision. She told me I did not qualify for a revision because my surgery was at Spectrum. Honestly this has been so freaking depressing at just wanna be fixed!!! I am so insecure now!!! After the conversation I did reach back out to Dr. Dowbak and she has not responded to me. I even called the office yesterday and no one answered the phone. This huge lump is so embarrassing I can’t even enjoy my life!!!

could that be a seroma (prob spelled it wrg) ? It might be trapped fluid that needs draining!

BBL W/ Dr. Dowbak: 1 Year Update

This day last year I was recovering from my bbl at the Dolls Recovery House. This bbl was a gift to myself for my 30th birthday...... Nothing has changed within this past year with the issues from my bbl. I called Spectrum a few months ago for them to release my before and after pictures to me, that I never received. They emailed me a waiver that required my signature in order for them to send the pictures to me. As you all know i have a hidious lump on my front right thigh that was not there prior to my surgery. So tonight on the one year anniversary that has made me more self conscious then ever I will post 3 pictures. A before, an after and a 1 year update. This situation could have been handled so much better. Instead I have been neglected and rejected by the facility which my contract was signed with and as well from the Surgeon. All I wanted was this crap removed from my leg!! I would love to wear something fitting but I CAN'T it shows through my clothes. This year has been a complete struggle.

Hey hun, Sorry to hear about your experience. I planned on going to Dr. Dowback for my BBL but I’m not sure. Has there been a solution to the lump?

Good Morning No there has not been a solution to it. Not one surgeon I have talked to wants to touch me. They all have told me that I need to go back to Dowbak to get it fixed.

Yeah, this looks bad. Your stomach looks really dark, and enlarged. Somethings not right. Especially considering you didn’t have ANY work ON your stomach. You need to get to a dr ASAP
