Don’t Do It

So this was my second round. My first round was with doctor Salama. I had a bunch of things I wanted to change. So I decided to do my second round with doctor Perry. First off the staff (doctors office) so unprofessional and unorganized. I should have took this as a sign, but I didn’t. It earned me two hospital stays, and I could have lose my life. Think God he covered me. Fist off the doctor office where they do the surgery. This is literally a chop shop. Nobody know anything. Let’s just skip to after my surgery. They discharged me and my heart rate was in the 140’s. I passed out twice trying to get to my hotel room. Now remember this is my second round so I knew this was not normal. I was in sooo much pain. My heart was just racing. Finally my support person was like you have to go to the hospital. Got to the hospital I had to be treated with triple antibiotics. My heart rate was still through the room. The hospital said so many women get admitted from this place. They are taking names and reporting them to the state. Finally get out the hospital and go in for my visit. THE DOCTOR IS NOT THERE. I don’t even know what her title was who took out my sutures. At this point I had so much fluid in my abdomen. I told her I need a drain. They told me he doesn’t do drains. The incision he left open are closing. The Np at this point reopened them. Fluid gushed out everywhere. I left the office feeling ignored. So I called the doctors number back. He called twice when I was in the hospital. After I was there for days. I don’t know if the staff just didn’t tell him or he didn’t care. When I spoke to him I told him I just got out the hospital and I think he should be the one to see me. I have a tone of fluid in my abdomen. So he came in to the office to see me. I STIlLL had another suture in me that wasn’t removed. They were going to send me home with it if he had not come in and caught it. At this point I just wanted to go home. I did and the fluid in my abdomen was so painful I had to consult another plastic surgeon. He placed a jp drain and immediately the drain filled twice. I had to keep the drain in for two weeks, and it was constantly putting out fluid. Ladies be really careful with this doctor, and anyone who works at this facility. I will say he did a really good job on my hips. Was it worth almost losing my life NO.

Please Help……..

Someone please help. So my surgery is scheduled for April 20th, but I never had a consultation with Dr perry. I only sent pictures in. The communication has been horrible. I would cancel the surgery but it’s for a reduction, but when I read yall reviews yall spoke with Dr perry????? How I’m so lost. Is this the same doctor? With Miami aesthetics. My coordinator was Stephanie, but now it’s some one else. This has been a horrible experience.

Try to relax. Most of the time you don't see your actual surgeon until the day of your procedure . You do virtual consult with the coordinators. I really hate that because they aren't doctors but the doctors can't personally see everyone. I am concerned that you can't get in touch with anyone and they just switched your coordinator. That's a red flag. If I can't talk to absolutely anyone I would ask for a refund .
I get that you don’t see your surgeon, but it’s the lack of communication. No one is on the same page. My calls go on deaf ears. This is a huuuge red flag. I’m just over it. I think I’m going to ask for a refund.
I'm scheduled for May 3 and I'm currently searching for A new doctor. Dr. Perry is excellent based on past patients. Unfortunately Miami aesthetics is lacking. the center is currently closed and surgeries are being done at other locations. It's beyond unprofessional and unacceptable.
I agree. This is a revision surgery. I went to doctor Salama in 2013, and it was a totally different experience. I didn’t even know that they are doing surgeries in different locations.
Hi Star I am scheduled for surgery April 15 and I have asked the coordinator to also let me speak with the doctor to discuss my concerns before traveling all the way to Florida but of course no response from him. My coordinator said that she keeps leaving messages for him to call me back and yet no response. This is a big red flag. I hate the fact that you can't even speak to the doctor before surgery date. I have requested a refund
I think I’m ready to ask for a refund to. It’s just to unprofessional. If I can’t get in touch with anyone now. How would I get in touch with someone if I have a problem.
