BranNewMe, so so glad to hear you're ok! I was worried for a while there not hearing back from you. I also just had mine debreeded and omg the depression is definitely real. Mine are super deep gashes and I'm so scared they won't heal well. Were yours deep too??? I have maybe 6 spots that had to have the tissue removed. Now just super sad and hoping this heals soon. Stacie really is amazing. I'm hoping to meet with her on a weekly basis to make sure this stuff is healing right. Thanks for the update! Again, glad you are doing well. I thought it may have been a blood clot or something when we didn't hear back :(

Girl yes, so deep. There are 2 spots on the left, and one on the right. They make me want to vomit literally. I don't see how these will ever look okay. It seems that is going to take months to heal. Is your belly and back still really hard? Have you started with the rolling pin? Also, how's the pelvic hump thing? Mine is now hard. My hips hurt too. What kind of garment are you in? I need to move to a medium .

Omg mine too. I have been freaking out so bad :'( Like when I took my dressings off myself for the first time and saw them I cried for 40 minutes. The shape is beautiful with clothes on, but I used to wear bikinis and crop tops in the summer and I'm just really going through it right now knowing I'll probably never be able to again. The staff is really helping me get through it but it's still so much that was never in the plan u know? My belly has hard and soft spots but my pubic area used to be crazy swollen, it went down in size and is getting softer. It's the bottom part of my abdomen and top part of my pubic area that's still pretty hard. I can't start rolling pin yet because my wounds go all around my abdomen and part of my back so I don't have anywhere I can safely massage yet. My hips don't hurt but I didn't get a lot put in them I think 100ccs each. I got my garment on allaboutshapewear website. The kind I'm using comes down to my thighs and has two spaghetti straps but a high back. I'm in a large but afraid to go down to medium with all this open stuff going on. It feels good to talk about the progress with someone going through the same. I'm hoping to meet with the office next week for Stacie to see if my healing is going okay cuz the wounds are yellow on some and pink on others. Fingers crossed this stuff doesn't get infected. I can't handle any more bad news :(

Yeah it freaks me out when I clean it, because my fingers go in so deep. HOw often do you change a day? This weekend I just did in the evenings, because I don't want to mess with them too much. I literally get chills every time I deal with them. Mine looks so awful it makes me feel that I will need skin grafts. I got 100cc to hips too, maybe they're just a sore spot for me. I don't feel any soft spots on my abdomen, it's pretty rock hard and lumpy right now. I try to massage it myself sometimes, but I'm sure I'm doing no good. Have you thought of going to get the lymphatic massage? I've been thinking about it. My garment is Marena and it's extremely comfortable. I'm going to a medium because I don't feel the compression very much anymore. This summer will not be a body show off for sure. I swear I never even knew anything like this could happen, or was a risk. This is a serious thing to consider when thinking of this procedure. Has your booty stayed pretty steady lately? Mine fluctuates throughout the day depending on activity level but stays within 2 inches (42-44). I hope it doesn't go down anymore. I am supposed to see Staci weekly too, so hopefully everything is ok next visit. Good luck at yours. Are you still using aquaphor

I change my dressings once every evening after work. And go back to Ohio once a week for more debridement. This whole thing is depressing. The staff keep saying it will heal etc but I know my body will never look like it was and I feel like my body is worse than I started. My shape is great but I'd seriously take my old shape back in a heartbeat if I could avoid all this scarring. I really would love to do the massages but my skin is open everywhere with the dead skin tissue so that's not even an option for me :'( The booty fluctuates for me too. It's softening up now tho except for the middle part isn't quite there yet. My stomach has some hard spots and some soft. Using neosporin on the open stuff and aquaphor on the surrounding tissue to keep it hydrated. Freaked out when it started turning yellow and went back in and they took off the yellow part and will do it weekly. I hope it heals quickly for you! Luckily u only have the sides. and the burn marks weren't that big so it might be faster recovery for u. Fingers crossed!

Okay, mine is yellow now and I've been freaking out. I can't make it back until next week. Is yours filling in at all??? Yes, it is very depressing. My Burn part on the left was huge, almost 3 inches wide. Now it's a huge nasty gash with a smaller one right beside it. I feel like my booty is deflating on the bottom, and my middle is swelling back up into lumps. I have been very unhappy the last couple of days with everything. None of my clothes look good to me anymore. I feel I would need to wear something super tight to see projection at this point. I don't know. Maybe I'm trippin. Maybe not though cuz I can see just fine. I'm really sorry that they are covering so much of your skin. Especially the front. Don't know your skin tone, but hopefully discoloration won't be that drastic for either of us. We will be scarred though.

Mine turned yellow and I called in also freaking out. I ended up going in a few days later and they just had to do the wound Debridement again. I am going back weekly to make sure any yellow spots or dark spots get scraped off again. Mine are starting to get softer around the outside and are not as deep as they were the first day. Getting rid of the yellow stuff helps it heal faster. My booty has dents again. Main reason I went was to fix the dents. But they said it might be partial swelling and we'll see how it looks at 3 month mark. This pubic area it's still so swollen and hard. It's hard to get dress pants on for work. I'm praying the scars aren't too bad! So nervous for what it will look like once they're closed. I'm a Carmel skin tone (medium or beige in makeup) and I have some skin discoloration where it looks light pink and also dark areas that are like a deeper color so who knows how that stuff can get fixed. But don't freak out yet. The deep stuff is definitely starting to fill itself up even the super deep ones so I'm sure urs will do the same. Aquaphor and neosporin and gauze are all over my bathroom and bedroom lol. It looks like I'm starting my own pharmacy .

Lmbo! I was just in the bathroom smh at all of the first aid supplies littered everywhere ha! Okay, well I go in Tuesday and I'm sure she'll get all of this gunk off, so hopefully it will start to look and feel better. Right now they have become very painful to the point of having to take pain meds. I get shooting pains. I swear it looks like my behind is shrinking everyday, but it may be because my whole middle keeps swelling back up and my waist is going the opposite way. But naw, I wanted more volume in the bottom and it's not the way I wanted it. I swear after all of this that I'm going through from this surgery, I better at least look good afterwards! I want this pubic ball thing to go away! If my pants hug my body it looks disgusting. I'm probably more critical on myself because I see everything up close and personal. I truly hope that I don't lose anymore volume though or I will be very disappointed. I'm glad to hear that your wounds are healing well. Gives me encouragement for mine. Are they itching? Have you lost volume? Is your stomach area still swelling ?

Well it is the swelling that throws everything off I guess. My booty has gone down, but without a lot of swelling (still some) my shape still looks great . Going to post pics from this morning .

Thank you! Well, I'm putting a creme made by someone local with natural butters and oils. The skin underneath is new skin, and it's not open. Haven't had any drainage or anything. It's just ugly as hell. Will probably take quite awhile to heal. When is your surgery ?

I don't know yet. Trying for this summer. Still deciding on doctor.

Yeah I asked about them today at my appointment. I was told that it can happen with very aggressive lipo. I am putting a natural cream on them often, and watching closely.

Hi! It's starting to peel I noticed tonight. After my shower, and while I was rubbing my cream on the scabbing was rubbing away. I was going to post pics, but I hate looking at them myself. I will on my next update though tomorrow probably. So super tired tonight! Thanks for asking!

I hope all heals soon! Did Dr. grawe mention if she injects in the fat or muscle layer? I know there's been a lot of deaths in Miami and that it's may be due to fat emboli. I've read it's safer to stay away from the muscle layer.
