Revision BBL with Dr Blinski - Feb 2019

Oh my gosh, where to begin... I had a botched bbl surgery with Salama back in 2015. I have a looooong separate thread on that ordeal for anyone that would like to read. As a result, I was very jaded about surgeons, and it took me a long time to finally commit to one and trust them to revise my body. I
interviewed several surgeons, all of which were not skilled enough/ or experienced enough to repair me. The last thing I wanted to do was have another surgery whereby I would come out worse! I had several things working against me:
1) a very over-filled, bottom heavy saggy butt (was hanging over onto my thigh on the right side to the point that it was uncomfortable all the time)
2) right butt cheek/lateral was approx 300 c.c larger than the left. For reference, a can of coke is 360 c.c., so this is significant
3) butt had necrotic fat deposits from poor Lipo, in addition to unfilled dents that were immediately apparent the first time I had surgery
4) assymetric waist and hips
5) poor blending on top of butt into back
6) fibrosis....
7) large dent on abdomen near breast
My goal was to:
1) fix my hip and waist asymmetry
2) REDUCE my projection and lower butt volume, round out the shape in profile and from straight on in back, LIFT (despite reducing) and blend into my back so that I have that "S" shape
3) fill dents
4) repair fibrosis
5) return my figure to the hourglass shape that I had prior to surgery, as opposed to the awkward bottom heavy pear shape I had after Salama
The number one thing here for me was that I wanted Lipo done on my lower butt. Let me repeat -- LIPO on my lower butt. Hardly any doctors will do this, because the risk for skin laxity issues are extremely high. The surgeon must be extremely skilled to perform this type of procedure, as the skin must re-adhere to a vertically challenged AND smaller area post op. Blinski uses his own custom techniques to do this. It's true art craft - borderline witch craft lol based on how good I've come out this far. So far, he has truly exceeded my expectations, and let me tell you -- that bar is set high as [RS bleep] with me!!!!! I'll be posting lots of pictures for you guys, plus some before and after collages.

Thank you! I'm still a work in progress. I'll keep posting here as the swelling goes down and I get to see the final shape evolve.

Omg this is coming along so nice!! I think Dr. B wants to touch up a few areas to make it all perfect, but DAMN. Such a huge improvement over what I had. I still have some bruising, and of course the Lipo areas have a ways to go in terms of being soft and smooth again. I'm on top of my massages and compression, which is key.
Dr. B is an angel, too. Post op he texted me all weekend to make sure I was okay. I had not one, but THREE post op appts with him, and he wants me to come back in May so he can track my progress. I've texted him a few other times with questions etc, nights and weekends, he's always available and responds quickly.
I've had a few questions from girls about my foam and my garment, so I'm added some deets:
Blinski provides you with 1 bomb ass colimbianas garment. It has 6 hooks and then a zipper so it's easy to get on and off. It covers your butt with a soft stretchy material to help contain swelling without compressing your booty. If you want a 2nd one from him, he will wholesale it to you for $60. This faja retails for $100-120 in stores, and for around $80 or so online.
For the next level of compression, he recommended that I buy the Spanx Oncore garment and wear a waist trainer with it. It's about $100. I'm 5'6" and 160 lbs, and I bought a medium. You CAN alternatively have the faja just taken in so that it's tighter through your core, but it's a bit less optimal.
He provides 2 pieces of foam- a triangle for your lower back, and a piece for your core (over your abdomen). On your sides, he provides a special cream and paper. Dr. Blinski used to work in a burn unit doing plastic surgery, and his son is also a skin specialist doctor. He feels that this paper is optimal to let your skin breathe on the sides and protect you from faja burns in the immediate days post-op. You do not need to wear this but for a few days, whereas the foam stays on for 2 weeks.
One more tip: get yourself a BOPPY PILLOW. The kind that a baby lays in and keeps them from rolling over. I use the boppy pillow when I drive, and usually slide a regular pillow behind my back. I have the bbl pillow too, but girl... that thing cuts off leg circulation. I only use the bbl pillow if i have to sit in an office or restaurant setting.
Please message me or leave a comment if you have more questions!!

I didn’t see you posted an update! All I can say is damn girl!! You’re so fine! Lol. You look amazing! That’s the body I want to have. He did an amazing job on you and I couldn’t be more happier for you!! Get it girl!!!! Thanks for the information on the fajas etc... but question, how do you sit on the boppy without applying pressure to your bottom? I still have my son’s boppy, so I’m good. Lol
March 7, 2019
Aww Thank you so much! The boppy puts some pressure on the outer thigh and hip area, but the booty sits mostly in the hole/open part of the pillow. I wedge a bed pillow behind my lumbar to push me forward so that the back of my booty isn't touching the seat. Of course you don't want to sit on this for hours on end, but for short car rides I just think this is so much more comfortable than using the Bbl pillow. Also, you know how on the driver side of the car there's a little slanted area sometimes to rest your left foot? Not all cars have it. If yours does, then you can push against that with your left leg and keep some of your weight off the pillow (basically I push my upper back into the seat and lift my hips just a little to take some pressure off). That sounds so much harder then it really is lol. You just do what you got to do for 6 to 8 weeks!!
Do keep in mind too that whenever doctors couple breast implants with a BBL, the patient has to sit on their BBL for the entire healing process and their butt seems to be unaffected from the research I've done so far. So I don't actually know if sitting on your butt truly has any effect on fat loss. I'm not convinced, although I'm still following directions just in case.

You’re very welcome!
Thank you! My car does have that slanted area to rest your foot! This is such useful information! I really appreciate it!
I was thinking about that scenario too wondering if they laid on their butt if they got Brest implants with a bbl done at the same time. But yet I would be scared to sit on my butt right after surgery. At least 2 weeks without sitting on it!
Thank you for being so informative about your surgery journey as it help people like me prepare for my own journey! Once I get my consult, I will post my own journey.

So, just for FULL DISCLOSURE, the American Board of Plastic Surgery has put forth a bill this year to ban BBLs in the US because the death rate is 1 in 1000 (very high compared to any other elective cosmetic surgery) and the risk of complications is very high. The death rate and complication rate outside the US is far worse. Dr Blinski told me that he thinks that it will only be banned for private offices, and that it will eventually be moved to hospitals so that girls have proper care immediately available. The hospitals would also ensure that standards are being met, and doctors who botch girls by careless practice would end up losing their license (they fly under the radar in these private offices). It's a good thing and Blinski supports it because there's too many fly-by-night doctors out here harming girls, but the surgery will eventually be a 15k surgery to have in the states. I'm not trying to scare you off here at all. It's just worth the money to get somebody with an excellent track record that you know can safely perform this procedure on you. We all want to look good and feel sexy, but there's no amount of money that would be worth risking your life!
