Research done, now it's my time

I went with Dr. D because I am specifically looking to have my hips widened and after researching for the past 10 yrs his signature hip curve is exactly what my body lacks. Massageand 6 fajas budgeted. I will have 20 post op massages (I've found one of the best in Brooklyn) and I will purchase 2x stage 1, 2x stage 2 and 2x stage 3 fajas. I have been taking preop vitamins for the past 6 months and will increase vit C, Bromelin, Folic, iron and VitA a few weeks before surgery. I also have my list of post op vitamins to purchase a few weeks before. I know that sometimes the unexpected is inevitable but I am trying to be as prepared as possible. For one thing I've learned through the tons of research is that besides the doctor completely botching the surgery, the end result is completely determined by what we do during recovery.
1. Massages by the right masseuse are extremely important. Your goal is no lumps, knots and unevenness. Massage can make the difference.
2. Prepping your body for optimal healing and limiting the trauma with the right supplements
3. Having the right mindset going in and coming out. Positive energy is extremely important and effects your health and healing directly.
4. The wrong fajas will destroy your results. You should go to a facility that is geared towards post op care and get at least two for each stage. Also, don't move to the next stage too soon.
5. Sitting too long is no bueno. Thankfully I have a private office so I've purchased a stand up desk to work from.
6. Keep your business to yourself while yourself until you are ready to share.
I am by no means an expert on the subject but hopefully this will help someone on their journey to a better them.
