Mauricio De La Paz Botched & Burned Me
In Sept 2019 I was left with 3rd degree burns & botched results after undergoing plastic surgery by Mauricio De La Paz (Avila) - at Splendhere clinic - in Tijuana, Mexico - who misrepresented himself as a board certified plastic surgeon. Within 24hrs I developed a large & painful lump on my right leg & severe burns on my stomach & back due to an aggressive lipo, whereby he excessively lipo'd the same areas under my skin over & over again, which caused my skin to burn from inside out. I was fighting for my life & my skin was literally peeling off from 3rd degree burns. I was left with disfigured, discolored and bumpy stomach, as well as disfigured with uneven legs, BBL and contour. He mutilated my skin, ruined my body & literally botched every area that he lipo'd & transferred fat to (which also includes my inner thighs, pelvic area, arms). Also, the fat he injected into my buttocks & (what was supposed to be) hips was not injected properly as per MRIs, ultrasounds & surgeons I had seen thereafter in the US. I still suffer today physically and mentally & have pain in my legs, buttocks, stomach & suffer from skin problems due to the burns. He is NOT board certified and his clinic is not accredited. He also posted a visibly photoshopped picture of me on his IG & captioned it "amazing results" a all while I was fighting for my life with burns. I was told by surgeons and drs in the US that I am lucky to be alive & that De La Paz was very negligent & inexperienced. My story was published on several news outlets & I will continue to share my story publicly to raise awareness & warn others bc no woman deserves to go thru this or to suffer permanently - physically, mentally, emotionally and also financially. I later found out that De La Paz botched other women & their stories/photos are shared on a private IG page: @drdelapazbotchedus. People deserve to know the TRUTH - I didn't deserve this & neither do you! Please do your research! I will NEVER recommend him to ANYONE!
