BBL + arm lipo with Dr. Hanabergh

One year post-op

WORTH IT$6,000
Finally one year!! It’s crazy to think it’s been that long. I’m going to upload some pics of how I look now, my scars, and also some minor concerns. Also, with all of this quarantine stuff going on, I’ve gained some weight, I’m not gonna lie. But I’ve been working out consistently and hopefully I can get back to how tight my stomach was right after surgery. It’s really really important to keep up with your fitness even after surgery, I can’t stress this enough. Just because you got a BBL doesn’t mean you cant ruin your results. So I uploaded pics of me posing in clothes/leggings, and i also uploaded a pic of my front scars and they have faded ALOT when compared to my last update but ideally I would want them to be 100% gone. My butt and back scars (circled in pink) bother me a lot and I’ve been using scar cream on them but I feel like it might be something that only laser scar removal can fully fix. The only reason they bother me is because I can’t hide them under a bikini and they’re kind of dead giveaways that I had a BBL. But oh well! While looking at my past updates I also realize that my waist was way smaller than it is now, but I think I am just shaped this way (boxy). That’s why I had a BBL in the first place because I felt like spongebob squarepants. I think with working out and maybe wearing a waist trainer, this is an easy fix. The last thing I wanted to update about was the lumpiness that I’ve been noticing especially in the pictures of my standing to the side. I’ve seen other reviews of girls having lumpiness after surgery with this doctor, and I have noticed it on my stomach these past few months. I had well over 15 massages after my surgery and that should be “enough”. Ive also used a lipo roller and they’re still there. I’m going to start consistently using the roller again but I’m afraid it might be a permanent effect of lipo. But anyways, even though there are a few little things that may bother me here and there, I am genuinely so happy that I got this surgery and I will never ever regret it. It changed my life for the better and I’ve never been more confident. I don’t know if I’ll be updating as often anymore since it’s been over a hear since my sx but I’ll update if there are any more major differences :)

Hi doll. Not sure if you are still in Real. Self. How are you feeling about your results now? Have you retained the fat. How are your scars?
Hey girl, unfortunately this app doesn't send me notifications so I'm just now seeing this comment. I love my results still, sometimes I wish I would have went bigger but everyone I know tells me I look great and that if I went any bigger it would've been extremely obvious that I got work done. I have retained the fat and i look exactly the same as i did in these update pics. My scars are flat and slowly fading but they are still noticeable to me (since I look at them everyday) so I'm considering looking into laser scar removal for the 2 front scars. If it's too expensive I think I will just get 2 small tattoos to cover them up. I hope that helps
This has been the most detailed journey I’ve found for this doctor and I really appreciate it!!! When things normalize again and gyms are open / I will consider going to this doctor. Thank you again and you look so beautiful!!!
Thank you so much I'm glad you found it helpful!
What all supplies did you take with you? I go in December and am soooo nervous!
Hey I don't remember exactly all things I took but I know I took a bunch of pee pee pads to lay on after (my doctor didn't use drains), wet wipes, pads, antibacterial soap, loose clothing that's super easy to slip on and off for when u go to ur massages, a big shirt or dress with buttons in front that they can easily put on u after surgery, stool softener, large cotton underwear, female urinal (from Amazon it's a life saver), booty pillow, arnica cream and pills.... I'm probably missing some things but just google "BBL supply list" and a bunch of lists will come up. YouTube videos are also extremely helpful. Good luck in December!

I can’t believe it’s already been 5 months!! I can honestly say everything you hear about waiting 6 months for final results is true. I feel like my body is still changing!! I can say I’m the happiest with my body than I’ve ever been and Im pretty sure I fluffed. My hips fluffed up a little and my butt did too and it’s jiggly. I still have some bumpy parts on my stomach but I continue to compress at night and I realize them going away slowly. I haven’t started my workout journey yet but I will soon to hopefully tighten up my stomach a bit and maximize my results. These are the only pics I have currently on my phone of my booty. My worst scars are the ones in front but they’re slowly healing. I’ve been using scar cream on those. I no longer feel the burning sensation when there’s friction against my skin on my stomach so that’s a relief and my butt no longer hurts when it’s touched. I also feel like my waist got significantly more defined recently, so I think my swelling in that area is 100% done. If you are going through this journey, just know that everything keeps getting better and it’s so worth it!

You look amazing. I can definitely tell what you mean with the fluffing. I see it on your hips too. Do you feel like you kept all the volume since the 6 week mark? Thank you so much for updating!
Yes I think I did!! Surprisingly my hips and butt still hurt when I sit on surfaces that are too hard but I haven't seen any decrease in volume :)
did you go alone did you have someone with you
I had my mom with me!
You look great, happy healing
Thank you :)
Hello, You look great!! My appointment is in two weeks and I'm terrified. What did you do to prepare yourself? What did you buy in regards to the pre and post treatment? Thanks
Don't be scared! It will seem terrible at first but you will do great. I just made sure I had all of my supplies ready and a comfortable place to stay as well as someone to accompany me and make sure that they would take care of me the whole time. You will need someone that can help you shower, clean up your drainage/leakage, as well as help you use the bathroom. This person cannot be scared of blood. In regards to supplies, I looked up BBL supplies and bought the items that people suggested the most. I highly recommend pee pee pads for the drainage because that was really messy for the first few days. Antibacterial soap for showering and arnica gel/tablets for bruising and pain. Do some research on RealSelf as well as google and there will be plenty of BBL supply lists there for you! Good luck on your surgery and don't worry, everything will be fine! I can tell u from personal experience that it will be hard at first but then you will look back once you hit your 6 week mark and be amazed at how far you've come :)
You look amazing!
Thank you! :)

6 weeks post op

I finally hit 6 weeks! My stomach and butt are still pretty tender and I get some pulling pains but they’re not terrible. I’ve been sitting on my butt here and there and getting used to it but it hurts sometimes if the chairs don’t have cushion. My bruises are pretty much gone and I’ve been self massaging my stomach to get the little bumps out. My butt is still pretty hard so I’ll update when I notice the fluffing stage starting. I’m so happy with my results and I truly have no regrets when it comes to this surgery. It was the best decision of my life

You look amazing !
Thanks! :)
You look really good! Do you feel like you lost any size and projection in the last few weeks or is everything still the same? That blue dress is super cute.
Thank you! And yes honestly I feel like I did. My hips have flattened out and I feel like my hip dips are kinda back which is a bummer but I was prepared for that since the average patient loses ~40% of the fat transfer. My butt is still perky and it looks really good from the back but at times i regret telling the doc to give me a super natural look; I wish I would’ve asked him to put more fat in so it would’ve looked better after the fat died. Nonetheless, my results are still so much better than what I had before and I’m still really happy. I just wish more of my hips survived in the process. I’m waiting for the fluffing stage because a lot of girls say that their butt rounds out a lot once the fat fully settles in!
Hi, just checking in to see how you’re doing and if you’re still happy and have kept the remaining fat? I crossed my fingers that the fluffing stage would happen soon for you so hopefully it did and you’re liking the shape more.
Hi I'm so sorry I completely forgot to keep updating on here I'll post one soon :)
You look so beautiful!! Happy healing!
You look amazing. I was told to stay on my high protein diet to help avoid loosing projection, also lymphatic massages help you avoid/break down bumps, fibrosis & lymphomas. I’m 3 wks post op & I’ve been blessed, I have no bumps or fibrosis. Good luck happy healing
