I am booked for surgery on March 15, 2021. I will be getting Lipo 360 BBL & possibly mini neck lift. My pre-op is March 12th. These are my before pictures. I am asking for an hourglass shape, hips & more of a dramatic BBL (less natural looking) if possible. This site has helped me so much, I will try my best to keep this post updated with pre-op and post-op, healing process and after photos. Wish me luck!!!!

Pre-op appt

Today 3/12/21 was my pre-op appointment. I was so nervous and excited, but mostly nervous. The staff is super nice at the office. This sweet lady came in and took like 20 pictures of me from different angles. Nude & with a little black thong/bra on that they provide. Also had to take a urine sample to make sure you’re not pregnant & a finger prick to check blood levels. Also had to provide a Negative Covid test that I took one week ago. I met Dr.Dass for the first time. Let me tell you, he was sooooooooooo soooo sweet. Literally the most soft spoken human ever & answered all of my questions with patience. He wasn’t in a rush at all, we talked for about 30mins. Then he looked at my body with the thong/bra on & explained to me how & where he would take the fat out. I got all meds for post op before leaving the appt & went across the street to a pharmacy that they recommended to fill the Percocet. All in all, 10 out of 10 experience meeting Dr.Dass he gave me a lot of confidence that he will provide his best services to me. 2 more days until surgery!!!!!! This is the pre-op room I was in today.

Surgery Day
amberilianaMarch 16, 2021
Yesterday 3/15 was surgery day. I arrived at 6:00am & was greeted by this man who was the nurse (he was super nice & caring). I changed into all the pre-op dressings & laid down on a bed where the nurse placed an IV in my hand & gave me a small dose of liquid Tylenol. Dr. Dass came into the room & marked me up front & back & also my neck for chin lipo. I told him I wanted more of a dramatic bbl look & large hips. He said he would do that for me (which he did). Then I met the anesthesiologist (an Asian man) who was also very nice & informative. I was nervous & asked him how long he’s been an anesthesiologist & he said 18 years very confidently. The male nurse then walked me to the OR & I laid down onto the bed. As soon as I laid down the last thing I remember was telling the staff in there to please take good care of me lol & I was OUT. Surgery was only 2.5 hours! I was awake by 8:45am & I left around 11am. I laid down on my tummy across the back seat of an suv & the drive home was 30mins. So far I have not really need much of the Percocet, I cut them all in half & only take half a pill maybe 2 to 3 times a day & one in the middle of the night if I need it. Pain is not unbearable like I thought it’d be. Deep deep soreness feeling & some tingling sensation where he lipo’d. It’s only day 2 so I’m sure things will change by tomorrow & the following days, we’ll see. Overall, my surgical experience went very smoothly & I was treated great by everyone in there. Also, the lady who was with me when I woke up from the anesthesia was awesome (she was a blonde lady) she told me how amazing I looked & took the best care of me. It felt very comforting & I was not rushed to get out of there. She took her time to talk to me & make me feel safe before leaving. Here’s a picture of me the night of my surgery day. I haven’t seen what I look like without the faja yet, but I will tomorrow when I am able to fully shower. I’ll upload some more pics with out the faja soon.

Mine is scheduled for this month! So excited but nervous so this is helpful! The morning or surgery, do u have to be accompanied by the person who is picking you up, or do you walk in escorted by the nurse only?

The morning of surgery I got just dropped off & took the elevator up to the 4th floor to Dr.Dass’ office. No one is allowed to go inside with you due to Covid so you have to go in alone & no escort. After surgery the nurse will take you down in the elevator in a wheel chair & your ride will pick you up.

Just be sure to ask for exactly what you want on the day of surgery while he is marking you up. So he has a clear view of your goal look. I did & I don’t regret it, he gave me exactly what I asked for. Also, the pee funnel has been a life saver for me. I pee like 20 times a day (since you do drain through your urine also) & it’s been helpful. Dr. Dass does not recommend post-op massages, but I would highly consider them. I am getting my first one when I am 4 days post op. Helps with inflammation & swelling & drainage of all the fluids at a much faster pace.

That was only concern and I wondered why he didn’t recommend the massages. But I read somewhere that if all has to do with the technique the dr uses to lipo and it’s too aggressive, massages are not recommended. Homely, I was going to ask him specifically why he does not recommend them beyond the “u just don’t need them “ answer. He doesn’t use drains either, correct? Also, I haven’t been able to find anyone in my areas who does lymphatic drainage massages, I may have to drive back to LA area. I’m 1.5 hr away from LA :/

I mean honestly I did drain a lot the first day, every time I got up from my bed the puppy pads were red with blood/liquid. I must have used like 20 puppy pads or more on day 1 only. & I peed like 30 times (he says you drain through your urine also) so if you are unable to get massages or only a couple I honestly think you’d be fine. After day 2 a lot of my swelling has gone down from draining naturally. Maybe see how it goes for you & if you feel you need a little extra help with a massage or 2 then schedule it after.
