Take It from Me..DON'T Use This Surgeon!

I am sorry this patient feels this way. We always do what we can to achieve the result someone wants. I would never blame the patient for their results that’s just not true. Things you have to remember with BBL. The mid back fat rolls are not just fat many times there is loose tissue there as is the case here. We do perform liposuction on her to the extent we could but rolls never completely go away as there is loose tissue there. This is always explained to the patient prior to surgery as was the case her. Also we always stress that the shape of the but is dependent on how much fat we can harvest to put in the buttock. If you do not have a lot of fat then our hands are tied as to just how firm or round or larger we can make the butt. She only had so much fat to work with. Now she still is early in the healing process as places where liposuction is performed will swell and as the swell it can sometimes appear as nothing was done. But with massaging to these areas the areas will go in more. I have seen in some cases this take up to 7 months to fully go down. I am sorry she is unhappy and we always strive to get someone the results they are wanting. We even offer bliss insurance that would allow more liposuction at no cost to the patient if they purchased it for around 200$. I hope you will come back so we can see and address your concerns. But please don’t mislead people into thinking we promised you more then what we could achieve based on how much fat we could harvest.

I also went back and reviewed her chart. There are several things she is neglecting to enlighten people about in the review. Sometimes when people have had several other surgeries on the front side it can effect how the doctor can liposuction the sides of the back. Normally we would curve the cannula around from the back to the front to shape them as much as possible. We explained to this patient we were limited by the traumatic scars she had on the front in doing the procedure but would do the best we could. We also mentioned to her if someone has curvature of her spine which is present and much more apparent in person that the side they curve to we form a roll which will not resolve with just liposuction. Loose tissue does not tighten with just liposuction. We did everything we could to try to make this patient happy. Her intra operative picture shows the results we achieved during surgery which she neglected to add to her pictures. She has access to these but these apparently have not wanted to show these in her review. All patients have access to all of their photos and this could easily be added if she desired to show what was actually done. She did not keep her last follow up appointment which would have allowed us to determine if there were any other options to help her tissue. Time should continue to improve her results and I hope she follows are previous advice as to the massaging to get the best results as this tends to expedite the results. We are one of the few practices that offer bliss insurance that was only 254$ for this procedure but would allow her to have revisions of any areas that someone is unhappy with. The proper course would have been to follow up with us and let us review and examine the areas to see what the issues were rather then simply attack the practice in a review. That way would would have been able to see what was needed to improve these areas and been happy to help her. As we always try to make patients happy.
