4 weeks post op in jeans
WORTH IT
Waist is going down and swelling is almost gone. Absolute no pain and a tiny bit of tingling and numbness but that’s about it. Counting down the days I can sit and lay in my back!

Lol, right, thank you for your advice and I hope you continue to love your results!
Just giving it some time girls, I’m 5 weeks post op and it takes time. It’s a process, the first 2 weeks I kept looking at myself everyday and taking pictures everyday. It would stress me out. Don’t compare yourself with anyone(especially Instagram) some girls have gotten 2 rounds or slightly photoshop pics. It may take up to 6 months to year to see final results. I also went with the natural look and love my results. If i wanted the vixen look(tiny waist and big hips/butt) then I would have gone to Miami or Tijuana. Just keep your wearing your stage 2 faja and make adjustments to it when it gets lose around the the waist/back & keep getting your massages. Any slight flaws can be fix, cavitation machines or wood therapy. I have been going to RB spa in Lynwood and they are Good! Trust the processes!!
Thank you! Did you go with Nykiel as well? If so how are your results and recovery? Are you sitting ?
Yes I did, I’m going on 6 weeks post op. I’m waiting for my 3 months mark to post pics and review, but so far so good! Didn’t lose to much fat I’m my butt, I just hope it stays like it is right now and I’ll be happy! Recovering was good, drink arnica tea for my swelling and take pineapple tea to help you poop :) drink plenty of water & lemon water. I started to use a board at 4 weeks and helped a lot! Some people don’t like them and some do, I think you just need to find the right one. I went through 2 different ones before I found the one I like. I still haven’t sat down yet even though he said at 5 weeks. I did research and it was 6-8 weeks. I’m going to try for 8 but if I can’t then I’ll do 7 weeks. I bought a gravity chair and my husband made a hole for my butt. It helps a lot! Also been getting lower back pain while I sleep but heard that’s normal
I'm 6 weeks too, and started sitting at 5 weeks since he said it was okay, but now I'm scared my butt is going to shrink! (Had to sit for work conferences) are you till swollen at all? I have some lower back pain as well and neck pain from sleeping. Do you love your results??
You should be fine, I heard in Columbia they want you to sit right away! To urge the fat to stick. I notice there’s a lot of different opinions when looking online for tips,( gets kinda confusing at times) just like the lympathic massages. Some say wait 1 week after surgery and once a week and some say 3 days after surgery with 2-3 messages a week. I have gotten 6 already. Did it hurt when you sat down the first couple of days? I’m not swollen but still get sore or burn sensation on my butt at times. Post op is important as the surgery! Make sure your eating good amount and healthy. Eat complex carbs, healthy fats and protein! You don’t want to diet right now you want to preserve the fat. So far I like my results, I’m not to worry about my butt because I had a good butt foundation to work with. I’m more concern about my lipo 360, my stomach( baby pouch ) and back(bra rolls) I still have both but they are getting better with time. Some days are good and other days look ok. But what I’ve heard it’s a roller coaster and takes time. I still use my faja 24/7. Only time I don’t is when I’m taking shower. You look good by the way! Your back side is day and nite! You got an hourglass! Your stomach as well looks good! When my husband would take pics of me I didn’t see the difference but he would say the pics don’t do the justice ( I guess lighting and angles make a difference :) I know you look better in person!
ORIGINAL POST
Love my BBL from Dr Nykiel
I went to Dr Nykiel as a second opinion, after a different doctor told me I needed a tummy tuck w/ my BBL (which I didn't want). I did just have a baby 3 months ago but I lost all the baby weight and was left with loose skin (the line on my stomach is from the pregnancy) . During my consultation- Dr Nykiel didn’t even mention a tummy tuck; i felt comfortable with him and his staff so I decided to go w/ him right then and there!
I am now 3 weeks post op and my stomach and waist are tiny and snatched and I’m still swollen! I somehow even have a bit of ab definition. I asked him to give me really natural hips and butt which is exactly what he did; however I wish I didn’t tell him that because I would like them a little fuller. But he did tell me that they will “fluff” out in few months.
Dr. Nykiel is definitely skilled, I hardly had any bruises at all. It’s obvious he does a lot of these, During post ops appts you can feel how busy and rushed he is , but I would 100% rather have a busy doctor with amazing results then a doctor with all the time and botched results.
Thanks again Dr Nykiel!

U look great!!!!
Wait ok first off u also look great in the before picture after having a baby 3 months prior. And in the 3 weeks post op bbl, you look AMAZING, especially the behind picture of your back and butt. Wow good job to ur surgeon!
How has your recovery been? Especially with children? That's one of my major concerns
Thank you!! Yes he did an amazing job! Every day I get smaller too with the swelling going down!
My recovery has been easy, honestly the hardest part is because of kids especially the baby. Just imagine feeding a baby, cuddling, dr appts, sports etc all standing up since you can't sit! That's been the hardest part of my recovery. But if you have older kids you will be fine
Hey girl yes recovery with kids is also one of my top worries! I have a 1 year old! How are you handling your baby with recovery omg? Do you have help? I'm already imagining myself feeding my baby on the high chair while standing up oh lord lmao. I swear the things we women go through!!!!
Hey love. How's the recovery and progress so far? Just checking up :-)
Going good I'm 4 weeks post op and I'm totally back to normal besides sitting on my butt. And regarding kids, that was the hardest part for me only because of not being able to sit. The first 2 days were impossible for me to take care of the baby because you are still out of it from anesthesia so u would have to have someone to take care of your kids plus you. On the 3rd day I was up and doing stuff and was able to take care of the baby myself but again the no sitting part is the hardest!
Awww thanks so much for sharing. Yea, as a mom of a 1 year old this is my biggest concern.
How are your results 4 weeks post op now??? Omg that's great u feel totally back to normal besides not being able to sit lol. Any update pics? :)
My lipo areas are still numb but all the soreness is gone! My tummy is a bit swollen still or it may be the pregnancy not quite sure. My dr said I can sit on my butt at 5 weeks have you researched anything different ? I'm scared to listen to him and ruin my butt lol
I've heard de del vecchio say u can sit on ur butt at 3 weeks. Others say 5-6 weeks... have u used the bbl pillow to sit yet?

Over all, are you still happy with your results?
