I am a few days away from my surgery and the nerves are starting to kick in. I’m nervous about the recovery more than anything. But in the end I know it will be worth it. I’ve seen Dr. Dass’ work and trust that he will make me look amazing. I will post before fotos soon. Surgery is scheduled for June 21st!

5 days post op

So I’m 5 days post op and I’ve got to say, it hasn’t been easy. The first couple of days were rough. Thankfully I had someone taking care of me. I drained a lot the first 2 days. Not being able to shower while you’re clothes is wet if very uncomfortable. Showering for the first time was a mission! It was super painful taking off and putting on the garment. Thankfully I’m over that hump. The pain isn’t as intense as I thought it might be. I’m comfortable with the pain meds that were prescribed. Sleeping has been tough, my neck is killing me. I want nothing more than to sleep on my back or sides! I do get nauseous in the morning which sucks, but after taking some anti nausea meds it usually goes away. I saw what I looked like today and I love what I see so far! I’m very swollen but the shape is amazing. I know I’ll look great once the swelling goes down so I’m excited for that. I have my post op appointment in a couple of days so I will update then.

Does ur stomach have any lumpiness to it or is it smooth? I'm thinking about doing my surgery with him but it looks like most of his patients get that lumpy bumpy texture on their stomach afterwards

I do have some small lumps and hardness but that happens no matter what Dr you see. The hardness and lumps have smoothed out over time. My stomach is very smooth now at almost 7 weeks. I do still have a little bit of hardness but it's going away the more I massage the areas. It's much better than a couple of weeks ago. He did an amazing job with me. If you want a natural look, he's the one to go to.

The lumps are my concern as well! I'm hoping self massaging like you did will be enough. Did you use a a certain type of lotion?

6 weeks post op

His everyone! I’m at about 6 1/2 weeks post op now and I cannot be happier with my results!!! I love my new body! He listened to my wishes and gave me exactly what I wanted! My goal was to look natural but still have the fullness I lacked and he gave me just that. I hadn’t realized just how bad my shape was before the surgery until I saw my before and after pics lol. I have some hardness on my sides but it’s getting better with time and massages. My incisions are very small and hide really well. I’ve been using the scar cream Dr. Dass gave me as well. I no longer have to wear the garment nor do I have restrictions on sleeping and sitting. But I still wear the garment to sleep and around the house if I’m not doing much. I sit using a bbl pillow and still sleep on my stomach. I don’t know, I guess I’m a little paranoid lol. I’ll give it a few more weeks and slowly get back to my normal sitting and sleeping positions. I 100% recommend Dr. Dass. He is amazing!!!

You look fantastic! I just had my surgery with him July 27th. I didn't know my stomach could get this small. Lol. If I might ask though.. When did you start massages? How? Do you do them yourself. I have some lumpiness around bra area and the mons pubis that I'm kind of stressing about. Not sure if its swelling or if I need to smooth them out myself.

Trust me, I thought the same thing when I saw my waist! I started the massages at 3 weeks. I did them myself in the shower or when putting lotion on. Just small circular motions in all the lipo areas. I have some lumpiness in a couple of areas too but they have gotten much better after I started the massages. I do think they're also part of the swelling, because as my swelling has gone down, my stomach has softened up. I only have a couple of areas with hardness now. So slowly but surely I think they'll go away.

Thank you so much. That's so refreshing to hear. Also, how about bending and stretching? Did you have any problems. Sometimes if I reach too far or when I'm bending over it hurts and feels really tight.

Oh yea morning stretches suck! It's like a burning/tight feeling. I still get it now at 7 1/2 weeks but not nearly as much as I did before. I mainly only have it on my sides now where I still have hardness. I used to also get random sharp pains. I asked Dr. Dass about it and he said it's normal. It's our nerve endings coming back basically. Just to keep massaging and the skin will soften up and the nerves will go back to normal over time.

I wore them for about 6 weeks. The 2nd stage garment was more comfortable with the foam pads
