12 week update
HapaMomof2September 24, 2020
WORTH IT$9,300
Since my last update (at 6 weeks) I have lost some volume and one side of my hip dips is back (the side that was smaller before surgery). Maybe he could’ve filled more fat into that side? I started sitting on my butt without a bbl pillow and sleeping on my sides and back at 6 weeks and wearing my compression garment only at night since it’s been so hot during the day, so I’m partly to blame for the volume loss and return of the hip dip. I know some girls with great, long lasting results were more committed and didn’t sit directly on their butts for months and wore their faja 24/7, but I just couldn’t anymore.
The lumps on my stomach have improved but still there, and my stomach still wrinkles when I sit. However I like my shape a lot better now so I’m still glad I went through with the surgery, but there will not be a round 2 lol.

Thanks for sharing! Is the lumpiness that you mentioned improving?
August 11, 2020
Hi, no problem! Honestly, lumpiness on my stomach hasn't improved. It does when I wear my ab board along with my faja, but that's temporary and it becomes lumpy again. The silver lining is it does not show under tight clothes so I'm not completely devastated. It just sucks I can't wear bikinis, but might be my age (38) and loose skin from 2 pregnancies and having big babies. :(

I hope it gets better for you. I've heard it can be hard to tell the difference from normal lumpiness while healing and permanent lumpiness. You're only a month in :)

Did you wear underwear under ur garment for some reason I’m having friction back there
August 14, 2020
Yes I had major cameltoe with the crotchless garment. Lol I wore underwear over it so that I can just take off my underwear to pee (without having to remove the garment)

Almost 6 weeks post op update
HapaMomof2August 10, 2020
I’ll be 6 weeks post op this Thursday! Looking forward to sleeping on my back again! I have been sitting for short periods of time especially when I’m around others who don’t know I had a BBL. In terms of the results, there hasn’t been much change from my 3 week update - I look about the same so don’t think I’ll lose more fat from my butt and hips. My stomach still has wrinkles when I sit and is a bit lumpy from the lipo. Obviously it’s not the outcome I wanted considering the Renuvion seemed promising for skin tightening, but I have to take it with a grain of salt because if I didn’t get the lipo on my stomach, I would still have the mommy pooch, and that’s on top of my list for things I wanted fixed from this surgery. At least I’m able to rock tight clothes and one piece swimsuits now and have a flat tummy, so I don’t regret opting for the lipo on my stomach.
In terms of my surgeon, the infamous Dr. Hazani, I have mixed feelings about him but it’s mostly positive. I think he is genuinely a good surgeon and a nice person, which is why I rated him 5 stars, but he tends to be more conservative in his bbl approach in case you’re looking for a drastic change. If you want the maximum amount of fat injected, I’d suggest paying an extra several thousand and book Dr. Dass. I wanted more natural results so I don’t regret choosing him. Also, not sure if it’s because of COVID and his office being closed, but most of my communication is directly with him, so it’s not the most efficient and organized way for a surgeon to operate. For example, I had to be on top on things (scheduling my own post ops by texting him, doing my own research on stuff on fajas, etc.) because his staff is not readily available to answer on those things. I gave Dr. Hazani the benefit of the doubt and blame it on COVID and his office closure.

Hi wanted to see if you got a stage 2 faja or did u get a light compression one like he recommends? When did u switch ur faja?
August 11, 2020
Hi! I think I already answered your same question yesterday on another update I had (my 2week update dated 7/19). No worries I know it's probably a blur since you just had surgery - I was feeling the same way! But I switched to my stage 2 at 2 weeks post op because the faja given by him was loose when my swelling subsided. I know it varies from person to person (my case is different from yours) so just take whatever recommendation he gives you. He didn't recommend a light compression garment for me but it's probably because I had Renuvion for my loose skin so needed the extra compression. Happy healing!

I wanted to ask you when did u start sitting with ur bbl pillow also for the stitches do they dislove?
August 13, 2020
Hi! I started sitting on my bbl pillow at 2 weeks but for short amounts of time or
While driving. I actually didn't have any stitches - do you?? I have incision sites where Hazani took out the fat or injected the fat (2 at hips, 2 above vagina, 1 inside belly button, 1 on my lower back tattoo, and 1 on top of my butt crack lol). They are tiny, hidden even in a bikini and have closed up but look a little purple still, kinda like a deep but small bruise. So to answer your question, I don't have any stitches that need to dissolve, I would imagine most bbl surgeries don't either.

I have my back and my butt crack with like hard stitches or something sticking out that pokes
August 13, 2020
That's interesting that he used stitches on you. Maybe check with him at your post op?
August 13, 2020
Some other girl said that he uses dissolve ones but they poke threw my garment and gets yanked while I’m sleeping or bending and the back one is getting rubbed by my bra
August 13, 2020
Also how many ccs did you get
August 14, 2020
He took out 4 liters of fat and injected 630 cc on each side (butt and hips). I think maybe I had the sutures too, they probably just dissolved without me even noticing them
