Butt Lift, Totally Worth It - Kennesaw, GA

6 foot beauty
WORTH IT$7,750

I am a 30 year old woman from Philadelphia, I'm 5'11 3/4's and roughly 190lbs, my dress size was a 10. I traveled to Kennesaw Ga on August 26th to have my BBL Sx, I stayed in a local hotel for 8 days to recovery before I took the 1.5 hour plane ride back to Philly. My surgeon was a young, beautiful, charismatic African american women with amazing skills that's had some hands on training in Brasil.

y surgery consisted of lipo of the upper/lower abs, flanks, low back and bra line with fat injections to the hips and buttocks. Her fee also included Zerona treatments and ultrasound treatments post op until I flew back home.

Let me start off by saying I've never been in so much pain and discomfort in my life, I'm still sore and my Sx was almost 5 weeks ago. My entire torsol is still hard, lumpy and presents with decreased sensation. I have been ultrasounding and massaging the lipo-Ed areas daily, which the modalities have helped soften up the areas a bit but progress is slow. I am still sleeping on my stomach because I'm afraid to sleep on my back and decrease the tissue survival rate, I was informed that by month 1 my tissue has just began to vascularize strong connections with blood vessels and neighboring tissue. I have not sat more than a total of 5 hours since my surgery, I still continue to kneel and opt to go to venues in which I can stand up and move around. I started working out lightly at week 4, 30 minutes of light cardio coupled with upper body weight training. I've also taken 6 weeks off of work to minimize potential damage from sitting. Thank God I live in a major city where subway is king, therefore I've been taking the subway and walking to all my destinations since I live in a walkable city.

I am happy with my results at 4.5 weeks post op, I wish my buttocks and my hips were larger, but trust me, I look 100 x better than what I did pre surgery. My boyfriend can't keep his hands off of me and every man I pass is doing a double and sometimes a triple take. I feel very sexy with new found confidence that I did not have when I was square bob sponge pants.

Oh yes, by the way, I am still wearing my stage 2 garment, my PS recommended 3 months. I started it out with a X large garment, after 2 weeks I went down to a large garment and now I'm in a medium garment. The price of the garment That my PS recommended is $150.

All ofthis was well worth it, but I will never ever do it again. The pain for me along with the discomfort was unbearable, enough pain to last me a life time.

The pain would surely decrease. And I hope u feel better soon. When I got mine done I felt the exact same way, the pain was soooooo bad and I vowed not to do it again. But now I'm about 2 months post op and the swelling has gone down and a lot of the fat has been reabsorbed so I might go for one more grafting. Hope you have a speedy recovery
Just make sure you walk around a lot and eat healthy.

I am a little over 4 weeks post op. How long did your body reabsorb your injected fat? I was hoping that after 4 weeks your body would re adjust and accept the new tissue, am I wishing on a star? What plastic surgeon performed your procedure and in what state? Thanks

How are you? I'm almost 8 weeks post BBL and most of the graft is still around. How is your graft taking? Are you 3 months out? Has there been a big decrease in size since your 8th week? I'm still scared to sleep on my back and sit. My ass feels very abnormal when I sit on it, it's not exactly pain, but uncomfortable. Was that the case with you? Thanks

Do you have any pics post op. Your shape looks great preop

Thanks. I was really curvless. It was very hard using girdles and waist cinchers to give the illusion of curves. I pray that after this BBL that those days ove heavy constrictive garments are over.

UPDATED FROM 6 foot beauty

6 foot beauty
Hi, It has been six weeks since my surgery and according to my friends and man I have not lost any volume since week 3. I must say, I'll have to take that with a grain of salt. My stomach and flanks still swell if I have my garment off, my abdomen, back and flanks are still hard and sensation is still decreased. I'm rather itchy, this week, it could be due to nerve regeneration or other celluar/neuro processes my body is going through inside. I started back at work and I sit appx 2.5 hours a day. I am a physical therapist and thank God I can stand to do chart reviews, documentations and treatments, I must say I must scare my clients because I am a large woman, 6ft and most of my clients are in their 80's and 90's, very frail and short statured. When I am home a still kneal, I sleep on my back and I continue to skip venues that will have me seated for hours. My butt is softer, it jiggles when lightly tapped (-__-). I made the mistake of not wearing my garment to work tuesday-thursday and BOY did my whole trunk are swelled up, I was very uncomfortable and in PAIN. Right now I have a mid thigh garment, I am in the process of looking for a below the knee garment because you could see the garment cutting into my thighs through my scrubs and bussiness casual wear. Again, I'm a pretty large woman, I would guess my thighs are on the xlarge/large side and my waist is a meduim, the garment that I currently wear is a Meduim, so you know that thing was digging into my thighs like crazy.

You look great. How long did it take for ur butt to drop? And how long did it take to soften?
October 8, 2011
Thank you!!! I think it's still dropping, it was really high at first, I thought it was gonna stay like that. However, I'm at week six and it has dropped quite a bit, I think around week 4ish my booty started to get rely soft, it's still tender but I still exercise and carry on man woman relationships with my partner. It seems like my booty is changing every week. I'll update bi monthly with new photos, hopefully my booty won't get any smaller. How is your recovery going? Do you have photos up??

Thanks for sharing your journey with us. I'm having the procedure done by the same Dr in mid- December. Can you tell me if your procedure was one day or two day? Mine will be 2 day. I am very nervous for the recovery because some people say they are in pain and others just have tenderness or soreness... Your pics and experience is truly inspiring and I can't wait for my new booty! Yours looks amazing!
October 11, 2011
Thank you so much. My surgery was one day. It was like from 6-9pm. The pain was a [RS bleep], I have a normal pain tolerance but I was really in a lot of pain for the first 10 days. I couldn't walk more than 2 blocks without getting short of breath and my ankles and legs swelled for the first month! My entire torsal is still swollen and uncomfortable but it's getting better. I love my new shape and all the pain and suffering was/is worth it. I suggest that you take plenty of time off, I took off 5.5 weeks, and I was dying when I finally had to sit to drive, my butt was so tender and I was just uncomfortable all over. Just remember, the pain and discomfort is only TEMPORARY and it will be gone sooner than later. Your body is being injuried, so it's gonna hurt, that's your body's natural defense mechanism and healing component. Go for it!! Post some pictures too :)

Thanks for the encouragement. I will definitely post pics and share my journey as well, as I have found it very helpful for me when others have done it. I'll probably post in November - closer to the actual procedure :) Happy Healing!

Hey dear, exactly how long did it take you to start driving again?? Because i'm thinking of taking two weeks of work (that's all I can get) and because i live in atl you basically have to drive everywhere. Do you think two weeks after a bbl is enough to start driving yourself??

Hey you shape looks great! How many CC's did you get on each butt cheek?
October 18, 2011
Hello, to tell you the truth, I have no idea how many cc my PS injected into my buttocks. I can tell you this, as time passes I'm more & more happy about my results. My man is in just pure amazement as well, he constantly says that my PS is an artist, and that i need to write a letter thanking her. Did you have your surgery already? If not, certaintly consider Dr Dodds, she is terrific at what she does
