BBL + Lipo 360 Review!
ORIGINAL POST
My Journey Begins...
WORTH IT$7,900
I've finally decided that a BBL is just what I need in order to be able to feel like myself! My body shape is not feminine at all. I have no curves, no projection, no cupping, no hips nothing! So, I knew that in order for me to set myself up for the BEST results I had to book a Doctor that has extensive knowledge and experience not only with this procedure specifically but with Plastic Surgery in general. ANYWAYS, for me, that person is Dr. Del Vecchio. I consulted with him about two months ago over FaceTime we spoke briefly but it really didn't need to be any longer. He is so nice, funny and his personality, in general, is just very very comforting. I am young, this is my first Plastic Surgery I will say my age range is between 18-22 I rather not say how old specifically.
I put my deposit down about two months ago and I'm now fully paid off and booked for EARLY July 2020! I am so so excited literally these 30 days are going to be the longest of my life. I am constantly thinking about this new body that I am hopefully going to have very very soon! Everything feels so surreal. I will be going to the Boston office!
I'm going to get my medical clearance in about two weeks which is cutting it slow close to my surgery date which I am very nervous about but this whole COVID-19 has my hair a disaster I don't feel comfortable going out like this until I can get it done... (lol) and that's when I was able to get a hair appointment.
ANYWAYS, I'm now starting to book my AirB&B, buy supplies and a Nurse as I will be going alone
***If anyone is going for surgery around the same time as me and wants a surgery friend, please don't hesitate to reach out to me! I'd love to connect with other people that's also having this surgery so we can help each other and share tips/ideas on supplies etc!

Congrats!! Please make sure your care nurse is experienced, respectful and when in doubt or uncomfortable, call a doctor. My sister and I have been talking about her surgery in September in Miami
It's scary for put of state patients. Where are you coming from? I'm two hours from NYC! My sister fortunately is an experienced knowledgable nurse and also lives close by to me, so she will be my caregiver afterwards. She is not paying a nurse in Miami and instead will care for herself l among with help from her husband. She has the brains he will listen lol. Please make sure you connect with your caregiver prior to your surgery! Look them up! Social Media, Background Check, all that! Don't ever be top trusting just because someone has a title. Just how we research hed DelVecchio, you should research the caregiver! Make them take a questionnaire as well specific to COVID19 and health. Go to surveymonkey.com and create one for free. Protect yourself. DelVecchios office if I'm not mistaken makes it clear they're not responsible for or affiliated with the caregivers or transportation if they assist you in securing either. If you need any help on checking out your caregiver, let me know. Being a business owner I am very knowledgable in doing these types of things!
I hate to talk about horror stories, however I had just read a review recently on here that a caregiver had slammed a recovering ladies head on the bed because she called her for help, made her bleed from head, and still left her unattended to. She ended up having to go to the emergency room not just for that but the Faja they put on her was too small causing her to bleed excessively. This was NOT DelVecchios office or in NYC. This was Miami. But please use it as an example to be extra cautious and aware! Always trust your body and intuitions.
Best of luck! Will you be posting before and after eventually?

Thank you so much for the thoughtful reply to my post!
I'm about an hour and a few minutes away from Dr. D's Boston office so, I'm not too scared to be going alone. I'm planning to book an AirB&B fairly close to his location which appears to be a pretty safe looking area but crazy expensive..! His NYC office looks gorgeous I'm sure you'll have a great time there I think I read in your review after surgery you're driving home with a companion?
I didn't even think to a background check the caregiver... I was just going to book them but I am definitely going to be doing some more research now especially for what they're charging an hour. Shannon recommended me a company that I guess they've worked with before but after speaking to the lady on the phone from the company it sounded like it's CNA's... so I'm not sure that warrants the hourly cost of $30+ an hour. I am going to certainly have to look into other companies I've also been looking on Care.com so maybe I'll book someone from there.
I know your surgery is soon so good luck and congrats! So excited for you. I know it's going to be a breath of fresh air no more stress and obsessive thoughts about it because trust me, I'm going through the same thing lol.
I will definitely post before and after I'm going to ask Dr. D if he can take pics of me on the table as he does for his Instagram and I'll post those. I'm not brave enough to post my before's now! lol.

Delvecchio BOSTON update
I just saw that Boston still has a ban on elective surgeries... does anybody know when this is going to be lifted? My surgery is scheduled for July and I’ve already booked my hotel room and paid so now I’m worried that my surgery is going to be postponed.. I tried to find information on the Governor’s website about this and I couldn’t find anything!
Aside from this, I’m going for my Medical Clearance tomorrow but a little upset because I now have to get tested for COVID-19. I guess all patients have to be tested before surgery just in case.. so it’s another Doctors office I have to go to but oh well it’ll be worth it as long as I’m still on for July!!
Almost all BBL supplies on Amazon are out of stock so I don’t know what to do. Like I can’t find an Ab Board so if anyone has any recommendations on websites to buy supplies from please let me know! Also, Shannon has sent me the link to the Fajaa they recommend but that too is sold out! :(
If anyone as surgery coming up and wants to talk about supplies etc. DM me!

Hi! I'm from Boston (and am a nurse...) are you just having a bbl? I had a tummy tuck done in Boston on 6/10. I was able to get it done because I also had diastasis recti and ventral hernia repair so it wasn't purely cosmetic but elective. I believe cosmetic surgery opens in phase 3 on June 29th assuming our Covid numbers continue to trend down. I am familiar with the neighborhoods of Boston if you want a second opinion on safety...if you we're having a TT I'd be able to at least help you understand what your in for...good luck in your journey!

Thanks MsDJT! I will be sticking with the NYC location. My date just got moved up to this coming Tuesday, so I'm super happy about that! This surgery will be Lipo with BBL. I will be returning to one of Del Vecchcios offices approximately 4-6 months after this procedure for a tummy tuck and breast lift!
I'd surely love to hear about any tips and suggestions you may have for recovery of the Tummy Tuck!!

11 Days PRE-OP!
Finally!!! I Feel like it took forever for me to get to this point. I'm now 11 days pre-op so, less than two weeks. My pre-op appointment is going to be on FaceTime with Dr. Delvecchio and that's in like 5 days. I'm going to show him my wish pics and send him more before pics of me so he can get a better idea of my body.
I'm going to be in Boston for a total of 5 nights. I think that should be enough for me to be somewhat recovered to be able to go back home which is like a 2-hour drive max.
I'm still checking into Private Nursing companies. I'm not sure if I should go with the one recommended by the Doctors office or if I should go with another company... so I'll definitely have to look into that more if anyone can recommend me a company or tips to find a good one please let me know! I've also been looking on Care.com but I'm weary to hire someone off that app.
I've pretty much purchased all the supplies I just need a few extra things I'll buy at Target. I do still need a BBL pillow so if anyone can recommend a good one I would appreciate it!
