This journey has definitely been exactly that. I have six days until I am flying to Miami and can’t wait for this to be over. Let me start by saying this, I wish they would advise their clients of exactly what your levels should be before giving you only a month to get them there. Low iron runs in my family and had I known at the time my deposit was paid, I could have been getting those levels up. Not 3 weeks prior and only having it go up an additional .1 when I need a .5 to get it at the required 12. Then there is the switching of the coordinators....as a courtesy to the client, please advise us that there are a gang of coordinators that don’t read the paperwork and calls you with results that are 2 weeks old, the week OF your final week. When you have your deposit paid in full, your room paid in full, your bag packed, car rented, and massages scheduled. Where is the customer service? I am patiently waiting on the lab to release my results so I will know if my surgery is even going to happen.....
