Great Experience Although Communication Can Improve

I just had BBL with Dr. Hazani earlier today. Check-in at Soma Surgery was at 5am and my surgery was scheduled for 6am.
The girl at the front could have been friendlier but it was 5 in the morning..she had me fill out 2 printed pages and a few pages of consent dons electronically. Then the nice blonde nurse took me to the back. I asked if they had blood transfusions on-site and she reassured me that they do this procedure every day and there's very little blood loss. They have me change and put my stuff in a plastic bag. I didn't bring a phone just my pajamas that I was wearing since I was instructed to wear loose-fitting clothes.
Dr. Hazani comes in and marks me up. I meet with Dr. Sanchez the anesthesiologist and he was very nice. They call me to the OR and Dr. Sanchez put a mask on my face. Then I wake up dizzy. No pain just discomfort. The nice nurse calls my husband and he picks me up for our hour drive home. I sat on a BBL pillow. I was a bit loopy and groggy but it felt good to be home.
Overall, the surgery was not too bad. I believe they started right before 6am and called my husband to pick me up at 10:15am. I only used pain meds at 2am when I woke up sore. You'll be highly medicated so it's more of a feeling of discomfort rather than pain. There are no drains so you leak everywhere. We bought 3 packages of dog pee pads and those have helped. Maxi pads also help catch the liquid coming out of the incisions. I took 2 ibuprofen and I'm about to go back to sleep.

I was able to take a shower so I took this photo. He did a nice job with my waist. My butt is bigger but I’m not sure how many cc’s he did. I was able to have a bm this morning Whig was a relief. I have a high pain tolerance so I never take the pain pills because it can cause constipation. First night was pretty terrible with all the leaking but it seems to have subsided a little and the maxi pads I put on the incisions are catching it. Overall I’m happy with my wait but I wish I had a bigger booty. I think he tends to put more on top because of gravity.

Yes, the recovery is easier than I thought. I wish he put more on the bottom though.

How was the pain on the first night/ day? My twin sister is scaring me telling me that it feels like you're gonna die smh. I have my surgery with him this month and I'm so nervous

The pain is worse the 3rd day. I think I still had medication so I didn't feel much pain in my abdomen and back. When I woke up today I wanted to die..lol. I hate not being able to lay on my back.

Congrats on your surgery! You'll be leaking a lot. Make sure you have pee pads everywhere especially whoever's car will pick you up. I stained my sofa and carpet. The leaking is really quite a lot. It was gushing the first night. Try to hold off the pain meds if possible so you can have a bm. It sucks to get constipated. I haven't taken the norco meds they gave me. Just ibuprofen but I do get loopy from time to time.

You'll be fine. The surgical center is top notch and Dr. Hazani is so experienced. My only wish is that he had more staff to take care of the after care like most doctors. His skills are top notch.

Thank you. I have a higher BMI than most girls and my husband didn't want it to be too big so I'm happy.

Hi, I feel great today. I don't take my pain meds. I'm almost back to normal actually. Dr. Hazani said I'm 2xl due to my thighs and stomach so he didn't put me in a faja, just a really tight waist trainer. Luckily I had my own that I bought from Amazon - Fajas Columbianas for $64. It fits but I can't get my lipo boards in them. Maybe once the swelling goes down.

Thanks for sharing your experience, my sister got her bbl with dr Hazani he did great job I'm also considering him.
