Great Consultation. AWFUL RESULTS!

Don't get duped by the 24 hour commit or not commit pricing he gives you after consultation. Dr. Chiu is a great salesman. He spent lots of time with me during my consultation and I was convinced he was the right doctor. Nope.

I'm nearly one year post vaser lipo of my abdomen, flanks, waist & bra line with fat grafting to my hips and butt. Due to poor liposuction technique (as confirmed by five plastic surgeons I saw a few months post op) I have lumps on my abdomen. Basically, fat pockets. When I pointed this out to Dr. Chiu on our follow post-op appointments, he had NO explanation to give me. He didn't want to take blame. Instead, he wanted to sell me on some in-office procedures that would cost me even more money! If I am to gain weight, even the slightest, my abdomen will continue to get lumpy unless I seek options. I do not want to go under the knife again, so I have to pay 1000s of $ for Morpheus 8 and/or RF treatments and/or ultrasonic cavitation treatments.

Also due to poor lipo technique, I had too much fat removed from one hip that has caused an indentation on my hip that was never, ever there before. Again, when I pointed it out, Dr. Chiu had no straight answers to give me other that offering in-office treatments. He actually said, "When you wear underwear, the sides fit right into the indentation." As if, that's ok. When naked, you can clearly see a huge dip at my hip (its close to where the cannula was inserted). To fix this without surgery, I have to pay 1000s for Sculptra treatments to even out my hips.

As for my BBL (fat grafting to my butt), I have a heart shaped butt but its FLAT from my side view. Later in his follow up, he said "too bad I didn't provide more projection." WHAT?!? "Too bad"??? I was very clear with my intentions in our consultation and again pre-op when he was drawing on me!

Now, Dr. Chiu has a sweet personality. I'm sure he cares. But his surgical technique sucks, at least for lipo and BBL.

His staff? Ugh, the worst. Veronica is slow in contacting you and is quite dense. No post-op follow up. No contact person to help you post-op. I had to seek answers and help from other sources because Dr. Chiu's staff is incompetent.

Chiu's prices are about the same as other great, reputable Beverly Hills plastic surgeons. I bought into the long, seemingly attentive, caring consultation. I should have looked more into his work. Don't be duped by me. Go to Dr. Charles Galanis or Dr. Jarrah-Nejad.
