5 weeks post op, starting to regret

$8,500
my results are literally getting worse as time goes by. which is extremely frustrating because everyone tells you they get better. i don’t understand how my pics from 12 days post op look much better than now, at 5 weeks. after spending $8,500 i am actually so frustrated. in both of these below pics i am sucking in, yet the waist used to look much smaller with a better waist to hip curve than it does now. (the bathroom pic is 12 days PO, the other one is now.) definitely regret it. honestly so upset. like how do i look fatter at 5 weeks, AFTER the majority of the swelling is supposed to be gone???

Someone requested photos, and I know how helpful they can be in making your decision. The "after" photo was taken 12 days post-op, so I still have some swelling and minimal bruising. Definitely a visible improvement in the shape though! I really wanted wider hips, which I think he did accomplish. I think there may be some asymmetry in the waist but I'm going to wait it out and see how I heal.

Sorry to hear about your experience with the office staff..I'm scheduled with them for lipo 360 and lipo of the arms in 2 weeks and I'm hoping I have a positive experience. You look great tho!! I hope you get the results you want :)

Thank you!! Best of luck with your lipo experience with them... hopefully they’re more attentive to you than they have been to me :(

what was your starting weight and height if you don't mind me asking ?

hi! i am 5’6, and my weight is 145. i actually gained 35 pounds so i could have enough fat — i started out at 110 but wanted my butt and hips to be noticeably bigger. before surgery, the doctor said at that size i should expect “very nice results”. hope that helps!

Thank you love! I'm 5'3" and 131 lbs and im so scared I don't have enough to do a bbl

I was worried about that too! but the doctor and all his staff seemed thrilled with my size. The woman who gave me my final sterilization in the surgery room said, "I bet he's so happy he has a nice, easy patient first thing in the morning". So as long as you go to someone experienced, I think you should be fine!

Hey how many CC did you get on hips and butt cheeks?
September 8, 2020
CC’s were actually never discussed with me, so i’m not sure! i wish i knew how much because even i want to know for reference. sorry i couldn’t be more helpful!

Yes it looks horrible. You can see the liposuction lump on your belly. And your buttt is very flat. I'm definitely not going to him.

Good Results, Poor Office Management

*This review is long, but please read to the end for your own good!
I am currently 15 days post-op and so far I will say I am happy with my results! It is still early in the healing process so I still have a good amount of swelling but from the looks of it, I think I will be happy with my final results. I recommend dr. Shokrian if you prioritize your long-term results, and for this reason, I don’t regret my decision to go to him, but, the organization and office management are terrible.
Before my surgery, I had several minor mishaps in which I was told my surgery wasn’t actually scheduled and the date was filled up, which caused some panic but luckily was sorted out quickly — my contract was also incorrect, so make sure to read yours thoroughly— things of that nature. But it was the treatment I received post-op that really raised some red flags for me. First of all, they said they would call on the evening of my surgery day to check in — they never did. My painkillers did not work, and I was in excruciating pain for the first 2 days post-op. I called them multiple times to ask politely if they could call in a different type of painkiller for me, on the verge of tears, and both times was told “we’ll call you right back”. Never got a callback, had to tough it out on my own — in my opinion, that is negligence. I had a virtual post-op scheduled and confirmed 2 weeks after my surgery, which is standard procedure. They never called. Essentially, they literally just performed the surgery on me and never once followed up. Ever. Very irresponsible, and I don’t blame the doctor, but the staff. Also, on several occasions, I was met with an attitude when I was nothing but polite and professional. Their patient care really needs improvement, but the doctor delivers good results. Please just be aware of this before you book. I am amazed at how many reviews on here praise the staff because there were countless instances I faced of unprofessionalism and straight-up negligence.
