My surgeon was very sweet, very kind, and even stayed late to make sure I was ok afterwards. With all that being said it doesn’t negate the fact I went in flat and came out still flat. It’s been almost 4 months no projection AT ALL! He won’t revise it and says I need a round two. Very disappointed I saved for a long time to have this done with one job and I’m a single mom I don’t get a txt refund to go splurge.

I’m going back to have it redone, I had weight loss surgery prior to so my skin is stretchy. I have faith in his work which is why I’m going back and not finding a new surgeon. Whether you choose this surgeon or another just make sure you’re clear about what you want and ask them if they can achieve that look

No and I purchased a boppy and a bbl pillow and as you can SEE in the picture right after surgery there wasn’t any projection right afterwards.

He should not have taken you at all. You really need a tummy tuck or a 360 lift. Your skin still has too much elasticity to it and needs to be tightened and lifted. I had the gastric surgery and lost 150lbs and I had to get all that done first b4 adding fat back in to my body. From your pics your skin is still soft and has not fully recovered from the weight loss. As a physician he should have advised you of this. You should see a Dr in your area who works with pt's who had Bariatric Surgery for a consultation evaluation on what will help you achieve the look you want before going under the knife again and be disappointed. Dr Dowbak does great work and he I'm #1 on my list for bn. But I have to wait about a year for my skin to fully tighten from my skin lift. I had 360 lift plus my arms done. Good luck hun! Congrats..You did the big part in losing the weight. I kno how hard that was. Don't rush the rest. Your Dream Body will come!

Thanks for your opinion. I didn’t loose and excessive amount of weight. It was right under 70 pounds and my skin has always been this way. I don’t intend on having any lifts or being cut open that’s too intrusive for my taste. I wasn’t concerned about my stomach or any other area that can be worked on in the gym. Not trying to look like a video girl just want a round butt with projection.

Dr Dowbak has since been in contact with me about my revision and agrees that it will need to be redone due to a previous issue I had which requires me to have it redone. Like I stated in the initial review he’s a very sweet man and I also admire his work which I why I chose him. So glad to have a chance to try again.

I'm so glad you are having a revision, I can't believe this happened in your after pics it doesn't look like he did anything! I pray that everything will be perfect this time he needs to redeem his work.

It was due to my extra skin (not sure of the medical term) I had weight loss surgery. Dr Dowbak does incredible work which is why I’m going back.

I also lost weight prior to me getting a bbl so I'm scared the same will happen to me? I had a first round with dr miami but it failed he didn't do nothing looks flat still and I'm think of Dowbak but I'm nervous I won't have any projection either still

That’s the day I was supposed to go as well. You will be alright he’s an amazing doctor. Just make sure you ask your PCP to write you a script for Gabapentin because Percocet did NOT help the Lipo pain. Maybe I’ll see you there if it’s still open

It’s for nerve pain. And Lipo suction is painful but it’s not so bad if you have the right meds. I was only in terrible pain the fight the other days were more tolerable

Oh ok how long were you in Miami after surgery? And how long was your flight back home? How did that go? My husband will be with me I'm just so scared and nervous especially cause I'm leaving my kids and I have never been away from them especially for that long. They will be with my parents but I'm still sad and scared to leave them but I guess it's for a good reason I'm all about my kids and never so anyrhing for myself so I deserve this lol

I understand that. But I’m sure they are in good hands. I had surgery Monday night and went home Wednesday morning. The flight was quick my boppy was a life saver. I didn’t feel any real pain on the flight or was less than two hours. I got a straight flight and wheelchair services when I booked so that I wasn’t walking thru the airport.

My flight is like 5 hours I'm in Colorado I'm sure I'll be ok thanks for all the info it makes me feel a lot better about everything I'm excited now.

Botched BBL

I had a BBL done at Spectrum by Dr Dowbak in July 2017. It was agreed that the surgeon would do a revision based on my terrible results and has since left that practice. I was contacted directly by the surgeon but here we are almost 2 years later almost, thousands of dollars down the drain and I still have a flat butt! Beware when choosing a surgeon! They don’t care about wasting your money, I was fooled into thinking this surgeon actually cared
