Finding the right DR for BBL Miami!

No. I have not found anything new. I found out he was sued a couple of years ago and he paid policy limits. Not sure what happened though. It is public records.

You are right. I am just a very indecisive person who reads too many reviews and digs way too much. I have a 5 year old so I want to be as safe as possible, especially with all the people that have died here in Miami. It is just scary to see people that went with him and come out with really bad results, and then I see people like you that look really good. It makes me wonder if different people are doing the surgeries or if he was just having a bad day on those days. Like... I need consistency, you get me? I am paying a lot of money and risking my life so I need someone who has consistent results.

I really like your results though. He did a great job. I am glad you are happy. And to be honest, his work is my favorite so far because of how natural the girls look. Did you have local or general anesthesia?

I requested him I didn’t want anyone else but when I was having surgery I know 2 people were working on me at once but who am I to say anything. I had local anesthesia and to be completely honest I would never ever put myself thru that again I did it because I read less complications and like you I have 2 kids and I didnt want to die so I went with local but for whatever crazy reason I ever do surgery again you better believe I will do general when they say you are awake and you feel pressure that does not describe by any means the pain, burning, and excruciating pain I felt. The recovery was hard but it’s something that you can deal with especially if you have had a child it’s just uncomfortable and exhausting because you can’t sit on your butt BUT I do not regret my decision. Like everyone else you wish it was bigger because after the swelling goes down you are like damn why didn’t I but like I said it looks natural now I just need to get in the gym. I was also his first patient for the day and I haven’t seen him since I left 4 days after and I don’t get a call or a follow up or anything he has thousands of patients and he’s not personal but he is nice and it’s just because they are soooo busy when I was there you are in and out literally I got there at 8am and was back at my hotel by 11am I was doing great after the surgery I was able to take 1 month off of work and I just came back last week an it’s been a hard transition because my job is sitting all day and I still can’t so I have to stand but it’s tolerable. Just know he money you spend on the surgery it doesn’t end there you have to buy multiple garments, boards, creams, medicine, massages and that Is key if you think you are only going to get 4 massages and be done you will never get great results I’m on my 18th massage and I’m doing 15 more and they are not cheap anyway sorry to go on and on lol

Thank you so much for taking the time to share all that info with me. I have heard other ladies say that two people were working on them... I asked him if he was the only one doing the surgery and he said he had an assistant but was the only one performing the surgery.. which is not true obviously. I really like the pics I see online, and your body looks very nice and natural which is what I want. I wanted to have the surgery done, but I am down general anesthesia for sure! I cannot deal with the anxiety of feeling pressure nor pain. lol! I will deal with the aftermath but thats it. I wanted to do the surgery now in December, but I have to go back to school in the beginning of January so I won't have enough time to recover. I guess I will have to wait until the summer so I can take my time to recover. I know they don't call to follow up or anything. The only thing that concerns me when incomes to that is if god forbids something goes wrong, you cant even get a hold of them. Good luck girly. Keep us updated with the pics and how you feel.

I had decided to go to Dr. Velilla, and even put down my deposit, but then I had second thoughts when I saw the negative reviews from Mamiof6 for Velilla, and that cannula mark... I met with him and asked him if that was a possible risk and he said yeah, but then I did my research and found that it is not supposed to happen unless the doctor liposuctions too close to the surface of the skin (which isn't supposed to happen). Then April - another patient of his - posted her review, and she wasn't happy either. So, I am postponing my surgery until I make up my mind. I love Velilla's IG Pics, but don't understand what is going on that patients on RS aren't getting the same results.

Hey girl! I have seen some of his work, but I dont have IG and his page is private so I cannot see it. I heard he had a death though, and that kind of scared the [RS bleep] out of me. I know things happen, but I have a son and would like to minimize my risks as much. I would like to go to a doctor with no deaths under his belt.

lol! I wish so too! Re the death - I am not sure about that, there are a lot of real and fake reviews here so you should definitely ask him. Did he charge for the consultation? Let me know how it goes. I am definitely going to look into him. Ghurani is double certified and yup... somebody died with him. I don't know any more girl. It is hard to find the right doctor. Have you consulted with any other doctors?

Ugh! I know!! I was practically sold on the double certification!!! Blinski did not charge for the consultation. Salama charged $50. Those are the only two I currently have an appointment with... I'll keep you posted on how it goes... blinski has a private IG but they add you rather quickly drfixitmiami beautiful work. I really like that he does no more than 2-3 sx on the days he performs surgeries. From what I've gathered it's not like a factory

Yeah, that is definitely a big plus. You don't wanna go to a meat market. I like Salama's work but it seems like a lot of gurls are getting infections, a bunch of blood transfussions (way too many) and one of the girls got sooo burned that i decided not to go with him. I just can't take that risk. Poor girl. She had really bad scars. I don't have ig, but I will ask my sister in law to add him. I am going to look into him. Thanks hon. I think I'm going with Blinski. Honestly, he is who's work I like best and who I think I'd feel comfortable with.. his years of experience are more than my years of life lol I'm 28, he's been in the business for 35 years. I'll keep you posted on everything

It went absolutely amazing! He made me feel so comfortable. He's a very sweet man.. I was impressed at his people skills (usually drs suck). So I'm booked for 10/30!!!!

Yayy!! I am glad it went so well. Yeah, most doctors suck at bonding with patients..mostly because they do not care like that. Now all you have to do is get readyyy!!

Did you ask him any questions? Like has he had any incidents? How much did he charge? I want to know it all.!!! lol

Let me start from the beginning lol! So I got there at 12:45 for my 1:00 appointment, I walked in and the girl sitting at the front gave me some paperwork to fill out.. basic questions.. I was called in at 1:05 which I was surprised because usually you have to wait forever! The girl took me into his personal office gave me a bottle of water and said "he'll be right with you".. so I was sitting there waiting for him... he walked in gave me a hug and asked for my name.. he stared asking me medical questions and started jotting down what I was saying. Then he said "let's go into the exam room so I can take a look"... we walked into the exam room.. so he said "I don't need you to change, just drop your pants a little, basically he just wanted to see me bum and torso to see what he was working with. So then I told him my biggest areas of concern, he said I have a great frame and I will look amazing after surgery. I'm currently 170 and I said I wanted to lose a little weight before surgery just so I can look like a Barbie after lol, he said I'll allow loosing 10 lb but if you lose more than 10, I will be upset.. if you gain more than 10 I will also be upset lol he's really funny btw.. so then I told him I wanted to do my bread and he said per guidelines drs can only do a secondary procedure if they only remove one liter of fat. I want to remove the max of 4 liters so he said, 360 lipo with bbl is all he can do with me this time, he said if I want afterwards and after I heal I can go back and do it. He expressed all his concerns with others drs and how they do things they really should not. So I felt a lot of comfort in knowing patient health is his primary concern. So then I put my pants up, and he told me I COULD go back to work in 3 weeks, but he would feel more comfortable if I go back in 6 (just because of what I do for a living). Then he told me about the award he won on Saturday which has his office phones lines going crazy so he said "think about it and if you decide to come with me then book as soon as you can because my schedule is blowing up).. so he then joked and said "go harass my surgical coordinator to see if you can get a 2017 date" lol.. he gave me a hug and kiss and Jackie (surgical coordinator) came to get me. We sat in her office and she said "it's going to be $7900, $900 today if you want to hold a surgery date" she said around what date were you thinking, I think I'm booked for 2017? I said October... she said looked and BOOM! She said wow! I have oct 30th... so she said it's up to you, do you want to put a deposit or continue searching for a dr? So like I said in my last post, I felt so comfortable that I felt I had found my dr.. (I had a consultation with salama tomorrow which I'm not going to because the thing he does "cell saver" is not following guidelines per Dr. B) so I put down my deposit.. and I am booked for 10/30!!!! At 6:00am. I like that it's so early because I will be the first patient of the day and I feel comfort in knowing that. So they recommend 12 massages after surgery.. for 300 I can get 6, so it's a little pricey but my health and wellbeing are paramount. I've seen some of these girls that go to Eres, Vanidades and have horror stories. That's pretty much it. Hopefully I was able to help! Xo!

I am so glad it went so well, and that he was able to make you feel that comfortable. I believe it is really about finding that one doctor that makes you feel like you found the one. I wish you luck, and please stay in touch. I will be following your journey. I decided to postpone my surgery because I am starting law school next week, and will not have any free time to do the surgery and recover possibly until summer of next year .. so sad tho. I added the doctor and will definitely go in for a consultation with him. I like the fact that he does not do so many surgeries a day. I am glad you are going to be first that date. I would also like to do my surgery early in the morning whenever I do it. XOXO!
