1 Month Post Op

Hey ladies! I’m basically feeling “myself” at this point. I’ve worked out once..nothing too strenuous and I stopped & switched exercise or machine when I felt discomfort. I hope to build up to going three times a week before Jan. Is that realistic? I took some time off for the holidays so I haven’t had to wear my scrubs yet. Im curious to know if they’ll need to be upgraded :)
As I mentioned in my last update, I’m not wearing my garment as much anymore but when I do put it on it’s like ahhhh thank you LOL it’s hard to describe but it’s like my body missed it. I have been using a Wahl handheld heated massager for my thighs & abdomen at least once a day. I am trying to incorporate waist training into the regiment. I’ve only worn it once this week so far though. Any suggestions on one for creating the best hour glass figure?

Week 3 PO

Alright a couple updates RS Ladies! I’m feeling better overall. I’m no longer taking the medicine around the clock. I may have Tylenol or Naproxen once or twice a day but that’s about it. I kinda forgot about the Arnicore since I ran out of the Bromelin last Tuesday. I took one today....just to see if I notice a difference. I had a 16 hour ride/drive to make over the weekend & that wasn’t too bad. I had my rigged seat all set & would just switch it from driver seat to passenger seat. I’ve been able to get lots of rest that I wasn’t fortunate enough to have immediately after the surgery. Boy I can sleep! I’m sill wearing the garment as much as possible through the day/night. I don’t wear it out anymore. I’m curious to know at what point it is safe to waist train? As for as my results, I’m very happy with how flat my stomach is (despite the hardness & swelling at times). I just wish he created more curves for me. My butt is still very proportionate to my body so I’m very happy about that because I didn’t want it to be so obvious. I got my post op note at my last visit & they took out 1250cc total and put 480cc in my R cheek & 450cc in my L cheek. I also kinda wish he could’ve used all the fat. It doesn’t look as square anymore but I still think it’s sitting high. I know these results are not final so I’m looking forward to seeing how much more projection I get as it “drops”. I’m in the itchy healing stage. I haven’t tried anything topical but I do take Benedryl at bedtime. Any suggestions? I’m just making sure my skin stays hydrated as much as possible especially with this cold weather & my skin is already dry. I’ll post monthly at this point.

Week 2 PO

Okay so a few items I wanted to discuss & as promised I’m going to be completely honest. I went back to work on POD #5 ...yes, I know I was really pushing it. I am a nurse and I? was in the nursery so I? basically stood & fed/held babies all night. In hindsight, I? should’ve probably waited and went back on POD #8 as originally planned but personal reasons led me to make that decision. Anyway. I then worked three shifts in a row which were POD 8, 9, 10 & lemme say THAT was tough. I? had a timer set to take the Bromelin & Arnicore tabs every 6 hours with Tylenol. One night I? had to break down & take Motrin. I?t was mostly lower back pain & thigh pain. I? experienced tons of swelling in my ankles (which I haven’t experienced since I? was pregnant 10 years ago) so I? was super uncomfortable. I would take my 30 min breaks in an empty room laying across the cot. My co-worker (the only one here who knows) would help me get my shoes back on after break LOL. I also couldn’t wear my normal scrubs because I’m still wearing my garment & lipofoams so I’ve been wearing the hospital stock since my 2nd shift back.
I had my stitches removed on Thursday....an otherwise uneventful post op visit. Friday (POD 11) I had my first LDM. Compared to what I’ve seen on Snapchat, it wasn’t exactly what I expected but it felt wonderful & this week of work has been easier with less swelling. I have a post op appointment scheduled on Thursday which will feature some photos since I’m leaving the area soon. I also have my 2nd LDM that evening....I’m going to request she be a little more aggressive. Seems that those who get a really LDM do better.
Oh & the hardness & lumps have started in my belly so I’m trying to massage twice a day for 20-30 minutes at a time.

It has only been three weeks after my procedure but I am really happy with the results thus far! His entire staff was amazing! Shelly made my dream come true because she went out her to way to create my surgery date with his hectic schedule!! The day of the surgery a storm knocked out power at the facility and both Dr. Chatson and the coordinator personally contacted me. Thankfully it only delayed the surgery by an hour. I was even more impressed when he [Chatson] contacted me the next day to see how I was doing. I’m enjoying being a walking billboard. I highly recommend him for natural looking results!
