5 weeks post op photos
So unbelievably happy with these results. ZERO PHOTOSHOP. I’m loving how all my clothes fit. The confidence boost is amazing. I just wish I had done it sooner! One more week till I can sit!!
AFTER CARE NURSES
This is the company I used. Nurse Gabby and Nurse Sarelle were AMAZING.
They also have “LUX packages” which are higher end transportation from surgery centre to your place of recovery.

Absolutely LOVING my new shape! My clothes all fit so much better. I switch to stage 2 garment day after tomorrow. I am having issues with the garment because I am almost 5’10 and the garment doesn’t come up under my armpits as it’s supposed to. Due to this I’m having a lot of swelling up under my armpits/upper back. I think I’m going to order a garment that has sleeves so that the back isn’t open.. I will post pictures of what I mean. Dr.Dass and his nurses re wonderful and his work obviously speaks for itself. I do however have 2 issues.. one: since I had to travel from Canada to Beverly Hills I had to have a negative covid test prior to my flight home. Or Canada ONLY accepts PCR tests which detect the DNA of the covid virus. There is also Rapid testing which detects the antibodies from your body if you have it. I called Dass office and asked if it was a PCR test, I was told yes. I have my test, and the print out says “rapid antibody test / negative”... WRONG TEST. I spent 150$ USD which is more like 200$ CAD to get a test that I can’t use. I called them and was told it was a PCR test I explained to them that it wasn’t and I was put on hold. She came back and apologized for the mix up. I then asked for a refund because now I have to find another testing dr who could provide the correct test, they told me “I don’t think we can do that” and said they would talk to dr.dass and get back to me.. which they never did. It’s not about the money to me it’s the principal that they told me it was the correct test, and then it wasn’t and seem to have no desire to make it right... I had to go find another testing dr and spend 300$ plus another 50$ for faster results since it was nearly my date to fly out and I needed results before I could fly. It really through off the timing of everything and left me scrambling.
My second issue:
I had told them that I felt like the garment was not long enough in the torso and I was told to just “keep pulling it up” but it is not physically possible. No matter how hard I hike it up it cannot stretch long enough to come up to my armpits. Also when I try to hike it up because it’s not long enough it pulls so hard on the crotch area that it actually cut my groin. The garment I have is straps with the chest cut out so breasts are out and upper back is not covered. I am going to switch to a garment that is full body so that I can have compression on my upper back and hopefully armpits.
All in all: great surgeon, great results, he’s very kind and funny, anesthesiologist is amazing and kind, nurses are great. Garments don’t seem to be very tailored to each person more like “one size fits all” *but doesn’t* and then the test refund issue.
