I started my search for an MD to perform lipo 360/BBL in 2016. I storm between wanting “DR/Columbia” results and wanting something natural but going away for a week or more as not conducive to my lifestyle at the moment as I am a mother and also care for my elderly parents. That resulted in me choosing MDs in NYC. I wrote Dr. Miami asking who he suggests and he led me to Dr. B. I had consultations with several doctors. I choose Dr. B because he made me feel comfortable with him. I already knew his work was good from following him or social media. He was honest with me during my consultations regarding my expectations/body goals. I knew I did not have much fat to work with and that my issue was skin but my main concern was getting projection and larger hips. At the time, I did not want to get cut so I went with scheduling my bbl.
I am very happy with my surgery with Dr. B. Not only re my results satisfactory, but his staff and his personality made each step of the surgery process easy to deal with. When you enter Cameo Surgery, you are greeted by name. They don’t make you feel like a name on a file or just other patient. It’s the little things like that which add to my satisfaction with Dr. B beyond my surgery results. At my pre-op Dr. B suggested I gain 10 lbs to help me achieve optimal results for my BBL, and as I was completing my paperwork he brought me in a cupcake and a glass of milk. After my surgeries, he personally contacted me to check on me. While we as patients are not looking for our surgeons to be our “friends”, I think them having warm personalities, on top of their professional accolades, provides their patients with a level of comfort, calmness and trust. During my initial search I read a lot of people stating their MDs were very cold and dismissive during their consults and even some that don’t see their patients after surgery, they have their clinical staff see their follow-ups. That’s not the case with Dr. B.
With that being said, it was only right that I went to him for my TT the following year. I am even more impressed with my results. My scar is very low and thin an my belly button looks super natural.
There’s not much left to do, but if I ever choose to, I’ll be going back to Dr. B for sure.
