Office review: Dra Bello is the Worse! Stay Away from Her

My god where do I begin so much happened. Ok, let’s start from the beginning, before I came to the Dominican Republic I consulted with de Bello English speaking assistant Alahissa who told me to send her $300 deposit to book my surgery. After sending Alahissa the money she disappeared haven’t heard from her for weeks! She ignored all my messages after picking up the money from western union (this should’ve been a red flag). Thankfully I became friends with my driver that I met while in DR from my previous surgery with another surgeon, he went to the office and reached out to them he gave me a number to contact and they successfully booked my surgery date after many failed attempts.
Surgery was booked for 3/18 they told me as soon as I arrive in DR I should come straight to the clinic my flight landed at 12pm I got to the clinic around 2pm. When I arrived Alahissa had such a bad attitude that was blatant I couldn’t believe it it was disgusting, I was so shocked later I found out she is dr Bello family member so I am guessing this is the reason why she behaves like this she told me I should come back the next day I asked her how come she said I cannot do labs because I ate, I told her No I did not eat at all because I am aware of this, then she said oh I can’t do labs today because she is ‘busy’ didn’t even allow me to get a word in. I came back the next day to see her so I can do my labs, when I walked in the office she was all laid out on the desk on her barely acknowledging me so I said “hi Alahissa good morning you told me to come today to do my labs” so she said “oh go downstairs in room 209 to do it” then she looked away in a dismissive way. I went downstairs sitting outside for the lab to open they open at 8:00am as I was waiting I met a few girls there as well who were waiting so they asked me what am I here to do. I told them and they informed me that Alahissa had givin me the wrong information so I went back upstairs and thankfully another coordinator was there who pointed me in the right direction.
I got to the clinic at 8:00am after doing my labs I was then sent to another clinic outside of cecipler to do a sonogram, when I return back to cecipler I was told I have to see the anesthesiologist who will arrive at 1pm which did not happen she arrived at 3:30pm after waiting all these hours they told me I cannot see her I have to come back the next day. I told them I’ve been here since 8:00am and my surgery is scheduled for the next day she then told me “oh we cannot do it Thursday it has to be Friday” ofcourse I was disappointed so I said ok. I then return to the clinic the following day like they told me to then to my surprise again it’s “oh we cannot do your sugery the following day (Friday) maybe Monday” so it went from 3/18 to 3/19 to now MAYBE 3/22.
When I saw dr Bello she was extremely rude as well barely took the time to listen to what kind of procedure u would like she was very dismissive she behaves like someone who let popularity get their head (I blame Instagram for this) this woman is so unkind condescending and just blatant rude I said to myself “ohhh no wonder why Alahissa is the way she is it’s because they see dr Bello with this behavior so they think it’s ok”
I left this place in tears because of how badly Dra Nathaly Bello and her staff treated me. I’m not the inky I’ve either I’ve seen them do it to others and not to mention they are extremely DISORGANIZED if you are scheduled to have surgery with her I am almost certain they will NOT do your surgery as planned. Also the quote that they give where they say everything is included is a lie I had to pay $500 extra to do labs sonogram Lung test etc.. they let you do all sorts of unnecessary test but I did not mind it’s better safe than sorry.
Also her Instagram pictures does NOT match her results at all she photoshops a lot I’ve personally seen 3 girls that she did and they all had the same thing to say. Don’t let her ig fool you with her “praying” with patients it’s all an act you guys I’m telling you. I’m so disappointed with this woman I had to cancel my surgery with her and booked a next day flight to go back to America my gut or the lord was telling me don’t do it she’s horrible. I’ve lost so much money in the process including the $1500 I spent to book a Airbnb for so many days, but u know what? I rather lose $1500 than give this woman my $4900 even if she offered to do my surgery for free at this point I still wouldn’t that is how bad she is
This is not even half the story guys but I’m going to cut it short but let me say this please if you can stay away from this doctor do it there are plenty of doctors here in the DR that will treat you well Dominicans are very nice people they will try to understand you if you don’t speak Spanish but make sure to download a google translator to make things easier.
