Dr. Salzhauer a.k.a Dr.Miami changed my life and gave me my confidence back!

Hey ladies!
Just a quick 6 weeks update (finally)! After my final check up Dr.Miami gave me the green light to no longer need my boppy pillow but I use it still anyway! Sitting on direct surfaces is a little more comfortable but still doesn’t feel normal so I avoid it as much as possible. Driving had gotten way more easier. I have lost some volume but I’m still happy with my results!
As far as my stomach and back I am still very tender and swell up all the time. I am due to remove my garment this week but I’ll continue to wear it because it helps with the swelling. Overall I feel great and can’t wait to be completely healed!

Hey guys just a quick update. So I noticed a fluid like pocket forming on my lower abdomen and it is a Seroma pocket. Glad I noticed it and that it’s not severe. The office told me that’s very common and they drained it for free (glad I’m local and 15 mins away from the office ????????). Other then that my bruises are completely gone thanks to Arnica gel! I used it religiously for soreness relief and for the bruises. It works! I also started driving and using my boppy pillow it’s so uncomfortable but a girl has to work, I was concerned because it’s barely 3 weeks but they said I should be fine. I did notices some shrinkage but I’m expecting that. Still happy.

Had my pre op appointment yesterday and got my drains taken out, so happy because they were annoying. I was told that I was healing really well. Dr.Miami doesn’t provide a garment for the first week and recommends one on the second week. My only negative would be that for all that money I would expect at least 1 free garment. He recommended spanx and not the Colombian type Fajas. All dr’s have their own methods, I just really hope mine last with this method since most dr’s are strict about garments . I loved my first results but I knew they wouldn’t last because the swelling would go down but I did notice some shrinkage on one cheek already which has me nervous I don’t want to end up looking weird. One side is definitely more defined than the other but I’ll assume it’s because of swelling for now. My hips are also not as sculpted as before, I think because I’m not wearing a garment my body is taking its own shape. I’m so worried. They haven’t given me real explanation as to why they don’t suggest garments right away. I hope I don’t lose anymore fat, my fear is wasting all this money for minimal results. I’ll stay positive. However I look better than I did before,I’m grateful and I’ll be patient and wait 3 months to see my final results. Follow up next week :)
