I am now close to 2 months post op and so far so good! I had lipo 360 with arm and inner thigh. The dr was Pleasant he answered all my questions. I was his first pt so I didn’t wait long to speak to him or to get into the sx room it went pretty fast. I was put to sleep b4 the epidural but I did wake up during sx lol I didn’t feel any pain and my face was covered so I couldn’t see what was being done, next thing I know I’m quickly put to sleep again. Woke up no pain but was saturated with blood and drainage, my legs were heavy because of the epidural I’m assuming? My bp was low so I did feel “weak” got some rest but was woken up a few times during the night by the nurse to check up on me. All of the nurses were nice the Clinic was clean. Took a shower the next morning with help from the nurses then wrapped up with chucks and put into my size m faja. Was given instructions verbally and in paper and off I went to my hotel. Next day I went back for my post op exam and got my first massage which was extremely painful I tolerated as much as I could and glad I did because a lot of drainage was taken out which left me feeling better after. One thing I’m going to suggest is to make sure u start drinking a good quality protein shake as soon as u can after sx if not that then stock up on ensure and pedialyte. I notice everyone’s busy talking about the faja and booty pillow but don’t talk enough about what to eat or drink after sx.
