8 week update
I am now 8.5 weeks post op. Feeling great.
Still extremely happy with my results and would do it all over again in a heart beat.
I started sitting after 6 weeks. I didn’t notice much difference in the size since then.
I do wish I had a little more projection and a bit more hips , but I do believe he “filled me up” as much as possible like I asked. My advice is.. don’t be afraid to ask for “as big as possible” IF THATS WHAT YOU WANT, because when the swelling goes down and some of the fat dies, then 9 out of 10 you will want MORE.
I wish my arms were a lil thinner. I do not have any lumps or bumps any where. I do still self message daily for 15-20 mins. I do not compress anymore either. Basically..Whoever said California surgeons can’t give hips and ass hasn’t come across Dr Dass.
This surgery ha really boosted my confidence and probably one of the best decision I made for myself. I wish I did it years ago when I was in my 20’s but better late than never.
Will I ever go for another round? It’s a possibility.
Would I go back to Dass? Absolutely. Each doctor has their style of shaping, and his matches my preferences.

GIRL YOU LOOK ALL THAT!!! wow. what did you use to compress your stomach and back after you ditched the faja? how far up the back does Dass go w the lipo?
Lol thank you!
He went up to the bra line I'd say. If I ever went for a round two, I would add the entire back. In my case, I don't think it's bad but I can see how for someone who carries more fat it would be bothersome.
For a few weeks I only compressed using foams and a waist trainer (no bones or metal). Later weeks I put ace bandages and a waist trainer.
I just want to add that I totally went against his instructions, and I am not trying to encourage anyone to do the same. I just did what I felt was right for me.
Congrats! You look so amazing! He really is talented..
I have been contemplating him for a while now.. but I heard Dr. Dass doesn't do drains or recommend massages.. is this true and do you know what his reasoning behind this is? Thanks!!
I don't see a reason to need drains. Your body absorbs and excretes the excess fluids on its own. Each surgeon has their preference on massages for their own reasons. I would recommend to at least self massage yourself using body oil. I've seen girls who got a BBL and got 10-15 massages and their results still aren't amazing. I think it's first most important to pick a surgeon that does solid work.
Hi this might be weird & feel free not not answer if TMI but how long until u could have normal sex? & how long until u could have lots of it? Lol thanks
I waited until after one month. Some girls feel comfortable a little sooner than that, others rather wait even longer. It's subjective.
What procedures were done besides a bbl ?

BBL review
I came across Dr Dass on here, and this platform helped me make my final decision so it’s only right I share my experience for the next person..
In short..
Surgery is easy. Recovery is the hard part.
He’s a (great!) surgeon but remember he is not God so don’t think you can go in looking like Ursula and come out looking The little mermaid.
With that being said..he does work miracles. I would 100% go with Dr Dass time and time again. You can look at my photos because it speaks for itself.
In long..
His office and medical staff are great! Any time I have reached out via phone or email, I get an immediate response. I did need documentation on several occasions for my job to approve my time off, to which they’ve been extremely attentive and helpful - no questions asked. Jessica was particularly helpful with all my needs and is very sweet.
His medical staff are also A+. Nurse was wonderful!
Dr Dass May come across a lil stand offish at first. I think it’s just his personality, nothing personal. But who cares?? ‘Cause his work speaks volumes !
I do think it’s important that you are clear with him about your wishes and desires, and assuming you are the right fit for it, I know he can deliver it. I asked him to give me hips and butt as much as possible. I don’t know how much he took out or put in - I’m curious, but I didn’t bother asking. Either way, he gave me what I think is a beautiful shape!
I did chin lipo as well - my chin wasn’t bad to begin with. Probably not something anyone else would notice other than myself but I did it anyways. However, I admit I neglected the garment after 8-9 days. That thing was just too bothersome for me to wear all day.
I also did arm lipo and I’m glad I did! Its not a drastic change but it definitely made a difference for me and was worth it. Too many times I see women not adding the arms, and it doesn’t look proportionate.
My first week recovery was hell. Mentally, physically and emotionally I was just defeated. Pain was very minimal - only when dressing/undressing. Post op depression is real. After the 8th day it most definitely gets better!
On my post op appt he told me “in a couple weeks you’ll forget all about how terrible the first week was, and come back for more”. He was absolutely right!!! Haha. If I had to go back and do it all over again, I would without a doubt go back to him.
On top of that..Considering this is a very high risk surgery, I felt very safe in his hands.
Sure, you can go get a BBL in a Miami chop shop for about a third of the price, or fly to DR or wherever else for even less. But you definitely get what you pay for results and customer service wise. I’m just saying...If you have the money to afford his work, do it. If you don’t, then save up until you do.
Cons?
He provided a garment that I felt was not the right size for me. These are not custom garments but they are quality standard garments. Unfortunately , I felt that my hips and butt were just too big for the size I got and it was compromising my results. Had I known, I would have asked for a larger size and then tailored the waist. On the website it stated my size was for hips 37-39 inches. Mine measured at 44 at two weeks.
If you researched him, then you know he does not want you to get post op massages. Personally, I think they help with the lumps and bumps that may come up when healing.
It amazing how more judgmental you become of yourself after surgery than you were before surgery. Just Know that you may end up with some imperfections, but still amazing!
Shout out to Dr Dass for sprinkling his magic dust on my body and giving me his all. I am very happy I chose him! If I ever get on that round 2 dare wagon, I’ll definitely be in his office again.

You look so amazing! It's been almost four weeks for me after seeing Dass as well. I do have a question. Is your stomach and back still numb? I'm still struggling with that and with the swelling which is painful. I hate the garments as well! My faja literally cuts and bruises my skin and hurts but when I take it off, I swell up and it's painful(because of all the hard lumps) and I can't sleep. I did find an amazing woman who does post lipo massages with a machine which is the only time I get relief. I'm just wondering how long it will take to feel semi normal?
Thank you! My stomach does not feel swollen or numb anymore, neither do my sides. My back does still feel a little swollen and a bit numb in some areas. It is honestly much much better than it was a week or two ago, so it's not too bad for me. I do have this tightness feeling though, especially in my back but again... much better than weeks prior.
The faja was not the right size for my hips, so I ditched after a couple weeks. I only compress my back/stomach now. Yes, this absolutely goes against what he tells us to do but it's been working for me AND I haven't lost an inch on my hips since so that was my goal. Have you tried using foams inside your garment? It can help with the "cutting into your skin" and add compression.
I saw your review - looks like you started massages not long ago? I know he says no to that as well, but I think they can be helpful. Are the hard lumps fibrosis ? You should try to self massage daily as well (I use bio oil).
You look amazing!!!
Thank you so much! That's all thanks to dr Dass.
how are your incisions? do they look like dimples in the front and what abput the one ones in your back from the bra part lipo? are they noticeable
Two in the front area, right above vagina are flat but discolored (darker) still. Same with the two on the back right above my butt. Those will probably take the longest to fade if I had to guess. The two on my mid/upper back arent even noticeable anymore. The two on the bottom of my butt cheeks aren't noticeable anymore either, just a small light dot. I just started applying the scar cream he gives about a week ago.
His work is fantastic, you look great!
Thank you!
You look great! I am scheduled for surgery 12/30 and doing the same. Open to any tips or recs! :)
Oh congrats! You'll love it. Just express your wishes with him come back with a review :)
