1 Week Post Op Update
I got my drains removed in office & as always it was a pleasure seeing the staff. It wasn’t painful to take them out & they were gentle, I found it interesting how long they were lol. I wake up swollen everywhere, my face, my thighs & my genitals. Which is normal. Soreness is still there, about 7/10. I walk for a mile while my daughter rides her bike everyday & it helps with soreness & swelling & we also get to bond, I really have no complaints. I haven’t driven & I’m not comfortable to do so yet. I haven’t came up with nifty ways to “sit” without sitting either. I’m not taking any risks. I’m now doing massages every other day. I’m in love with my new & highly improved body.
360 LIPO & BBL
My entire life I've been I've struggled with body image in order to have any type of butt, I'd have to gain weight, my boobs were small, & I appreciated them until I breast fed. I got a BA in 2019. So now it was time tackle a much bigger, more painful, more dangerous surgery. Lipo of 6 areas of a small, but pudgy stomach & back LOL I'm 5'2". I told myself, I'd lose weight & see if I got some free confidence & there went the small butt that I had & my thinghs (the first place I lose weight) still with stubborn fat on my flanks & no ass, I said f*ck it, & I went to multiple consultations. My last was Dr. Costa & I knew that if I hated the other doctors it was going to be him regardless because he had results, ones I loved & on people I knew in real life. BUT COME TO FIND OUT I WOULD LIKE HIM ASIDE FROM LEAVING MY LIFE IN HIS HANDS. I trusted him, I trusted his staff, I liked being in his office every time I had to visit. In fact Dr. Costa was more forthcoming about the dangers of this surgery than the other 4 surgeons I saw, yet I trusted him the most to do it. Diane, the lovely office manager, is just so cute, you can't resist her either, so plan on just booking surgery when you visit. LOL But seriously, the team is unbeatable. I'm two days post op & I'm nearly self-sufficient, my 6 year old just helps me pull up my pants & things I keep dropping on the ground. The pain kicks in at night during my sleep & if I don't wake up to take Ibuprofen (I hate prescription pain meds) then I wake up in pain, but it's tolerable. Anyways, if you're think about getting a BBL this is your sign. Dr. Costa & his staff are your last stop. Just great people you can trust with your life. Dr. Costa KNOWS his responsibility as a plastic surgeon to be cognizant & take all the safety measures possible to keep YOU safe but ALSO give you life changing results. That's hard to come by.
