I’m officially 11 days post op!!!

Hi dolls! I am beyond happy with my results. Dr. Dowbak snatched me! She gave me even bigger hips that I didn’t know I needed! Overall I had a good experience with her and can’t complain. I am going to be honest that it’s been very rough post op. It’s definitely not a piece of cake. It’s hard to get by and you need someone by your side for the first 7 days. I woke up crying from anesthesia and Miami is the Mecca for surgeries so it was hard to find the pain meds. I got by with just Tylenol for the first day or two. Overall it’s definitely worth it but I’ll try to keep my weight and be healthy so I don’t need to go for round two! I wasn’t big pre-surgery nor did I have any excess skin so honestly I’m happy with the way I came out and no need for revision.

Surgery tomorrow!
They called me and said they had an opening as soon as tomorrow instead of Friday so surgery is happening Thursday! Keep me in your prayers! I feel well prepared I hope everything will be as planned and I’ll post soon

Update!
10 days left. I just had my labs done today. My PCP told me my EKG was just okay so I’m worried she won’t clear me for the surgery! My labs should come back great though.

my EKG was just okay for my first round (I had to do it twice, smh) and I was nervous too! but was also still cleared, thank God.
