Office review: poor customer service & odd scheduling protocols

Poor Customer Service & Odd Scheduling Protocols

I was excited to schedule my procedure with Dr. Jung as I have the next few months off of work. I paid my consultation fee and received a response email from Sarah. The scheduling protocol is quite ridiculous. You can only be added to the waitlist if you schedule a date, but their first available date is not until May 2023. I explained that I knew I would not be available in May of that year, so it wouldn't make sense for me to schedule for that date. I have availability for the next few months, but because I am not available for their first available date (May 2023), I am ineligible to be added to the waitlist. Sarah made it very clear that she had no solution and was unwilling to help. She was completely flippant. I am a health care provider myself and would be embarrassed to have my staff treat prospective clients this way.

My scheduled surgery date is July 2023 but since I got my labs cleared end of April almost less than 2 weeks later I received a surgery date for may 2022z I had to turn down 2 surgery dates for May all less than a month . So I understand it’s far booked out but you most likely would have got into surgery had you been added to the waitlist . I’m thinking they do that because they want to know people are serious. I’m guessing the waitlist would be incredibly long if no one put a deposit down and would waste a lot of time . But if I where you I would just select a date because you have the option to always move up .

I had my surgery elsewhere and I am over three months out and super happy with my results! Thanks though!
