BBL Journey with Hazani
ORIGINAL POST
Changing dr’s, finally confident about one
WORTH IT$9,200
Hey beauties! I tend to write a lot so here goes!!
So I’ve been doing a lot of research on doctors trying to find a better one than the one I currently am booked with. It seriously has felt like a job. Dr. Hazani has been THE dr I’ve been focused on and I’m positive he’s the one I will end up going to.
I’ve literally been on RealSelf reading Hazani’s reviews for 5 hours straight?! There’s 1 or 2 bad reviews I’ve read so far but all the others have been good + his before and afters are amazing!
Yesterday which was Saturday at night, I reached out about scheduling a consultation and I got a response by email from Michelle right away. We had a conversation that flowed and I wasn’t waiting for a reply which is awesome considering it’s the weekend and you wouldn’t really expect that? It shows that even after my surgery I’ll be able to easily contact his office staff around the clock which is reassuring. I mentioned I work during the week and live in Las Vegas so I can’t come to Cali for a consult and she said I could do a virtual one as early as tomorrow afternoon with Hazani, which I did today. He called me at 12 like promised and was super friendly, helpful and made sure to explain to me how my results will end up and he was just very honest!! Not like some surgeons who promise it’ll be perfect. He gave me very realistic expectations for my body and I listened to every word he said, asked him all the questions I had and am just so grateful I found him!! Tomorrow Nayely or Michelle will contact me in regards to scheduling my surgery and booking with down payment.
Now all I have to do is cancel my booking with the other surgeon.
Something in my soul is telling me Dr. Hazani is the one and I have no doubt that he is.
I’m super excited for my journey!!

Almost ready to book!
Yesterday Nayely called me while I was at work and I couldn’t talk on the phone so she told me we could text instead if that is easier. I love this because this is something I don’t want to discuss over the phone for everyone to hear anyway. She asked me what dates I’m thinking of wanting to have my surgery and I told her Feb 13 or 14. I was scared that I wouldn’t be able to because those dates are really close from now but she let me know Thursday Feb 14 just opened up! The only thing is since I’m coming from Las Vegas and plan on going back to work the Monday after(crazy and wishful thinking lol), I have to leave Cali either Saturday or Sunday so just a few days after my surgery. So Nayely will let me know today if I will be able to have my post op appointment with Dr Hazani on that Sunday after. If I’m able to then today I’m going to book for that date and put my down payment down! Even if I have to wait until Monday or Tuesday for my post op I’ll probably still book for that date.
Just want to make sure the dates are all set so I can make sure what days to request off work and book my air b&b in Cali.

Same here.. I'm just worried about recovery.. I have a physical job too and am taking a week off from work.. I'm scared it wont be enough time or the pain will be bad..
February 2, 2019
I want my surgery around May too! Just got to get enough to put down first. I’m between him & another surgeon

I feel like the pain shouldn’t be bad after week 1 post op. The only thing would be sitting and stuff which is the reason I’m scared about going back to work that’s the main thing I’m worried about..

February 3, 2019
Well I know you definitely have to have a bbl pillow the first two weeks to sit down on.. I'm worried about that too because I have to sit down at work too. I dont want my employees knowing something is up.. have you got all your supplies and stuff?

February 3, 2019
Not yet and I really need to lol the day is almost here.. I’m going to message Hazanis office on Monday and ask them to send me a list of supplies I need so i get everything I need

BBL vets... going back to work a few days post op ???
Hey ladies , I’m wondering if it’s totally crazy of me to return to work 4 days post op? I work in the medical field so I’m on my feet when I do my job. I do use my computer religiously to pull up patients papers and records and I am sitting for that but I guess I could stand I just will have to bend down. I also sit every time I’m not busy with patients so I’m not sure how it would feel being on my feet the entire 9 hour day. I know I’ll have pain meds so I’m not too worried about the pain at work, more worried about draining all over my scrubs and walking weird and stuff like that! Let me know :)

Yes, that sounds like a bad idea bc I bet you won't be feeling well. Iv'e read that the first week is hard. I'm sure you'll have a lot of swelling and might still be draining?
If you don't mind me asking what are you getting lipo'ed? I was quoted less than what you're paying a year ago and I'm wondering if his prices have gone up? (I was getting lipo of stomach and back and transferring to hips and butt) Iv'e decided to go with him this spring.

February 5, 2019
Unfortunately it’s the most amount of time I got approved off so I have to suck it up I guess.. hoping my recovery won’t be too bad. I’m getting my back, flanks and stomach. Also paying extra to get my inner thighs lipo’d

February 5, 2019
Ahh yes I was also quoted for flanks. I don't need inner thighs lipo'ed so that's probably why I was quoted less. Maybe you can get a doctors note from him just in case you absolutely don't feel well after 4 days. But I'm sure the pain and uncomfortableness will be worth it in the end!

I’m am now 4 days post op with dr Hazani. I stopped bleeding yesterday , just a bandaid now ! As far as standing up , I can only stand a few hours and I feel tired. But I’m up and cleaning and doing normal things but I didn’t have thigh lipo. I think you’ll be able to do it but you will probably be tired and walk funny! Lol other than that , it’s not bad at 4 days ! Well for me at least! Best wishes I can’t wait to see your results!

February 12, 2019
Yeah I know I’ll probably walk weird lol I’m nervous cause I don’t want anyone to know I’ve got this done.. hopefully I can do this. Thanks girl!! Omg I want to see your results. Do you have before and afters right now? Did you see an immediate change right after surgery?
February 12, 2019
Yes I looked different right away by every day I look better I think because my waist is shrinking, so it makes it seem like my butt got bigger.

February 12, 2019
Wow How many cc’s did he put in each cheek? I hope he makes mine big enough to see a difference because my waist is already kinda small..

February 12, 2019
Can you give me a little run down on how your surgery day went from start to finish? My anxiety is getting bad because I don’t know what to expect
February 12, 2019
Yeah no worries , I was actually pretty calm because my best friend had liposuction couple years ago and assured me ... u just knock out and wake up what feels like a seconds. Which it does.. but I woke up laying on my back which hurts . Feels like a bruise someone is pressing on. But the bruise is your whole ass lol . I felt exhausted like I just wanted to lay in the bed for a longer time but the nurse was low key rushing me. I asked the nurse for more drugs because I was in pain. It wasn’t unbearable but I wanted the drugs because I just wanted to feel nothing at all. So my cousin was helping me get up to put on my clothes. And I accidentally pressed on my belly and blood shooted out like a water fountain. So be aware you will be super bloody but don’t get freaked out!! I was wheelchaired to the car, and hopefully an SUV or car that has a folding trunk picks u up. That really helped me that I had space to get comfortable. Don’t forget a pillow!! I forgot a pillow and my cousin gave me a bag of her kid’s construction papers to lay my head on. I was so drugged up that it was really comfortable. I even asked her what I was laying on because it was so comfy lol. When I got home I had my cousin change my bandages. You will need someone to change it for you the first day or two. I bled a lot and had to change my abdominal padding every 2-3 hours during the night. My husband took over and did it for me till the next day. Then I was able to change it myself. The drugs help a lot! I slept like a baby the first 3 days . Now I am 5 days and I’m getting back and neck pain :( I was also constipated. I drank prune juice and stool softener then I went #2 and then had bad diarrhea. Sitting on the toilet was not that difficult for me. I go to the gym and can squat pretty well so hopefully you’re strong as well. I used a stool chair in front of the toilet to hold for balance. I highly recommend having a stool or small chair there! My husband had to wipe my butt for me though because I couldn’t reach. Lol. Other than that. Minimal pain! Just discomfort and BOREDOM!!! from being stuck inside recovering. I have rode in the car for my post op in a two door coupe. It was not fun. I highly recommend traveling places with a big car to lay down in. I’m 27 years old and I feel I am recovering really well. I see some of the older woman on RealSelf are the ones with the harder recovery it seems. Good luck!!! I’m happy to help (as u can see i have a lot of time to spare while recovering LOL!!)

Thank you so much for all the details! I’m young as well so I hope my recovery and surgery journey is as good as yours has been. I’ll keep you updated :)
