The Best Care for my Breast and Bbl Surgery!

Just a quick note for anyone wondering, I live in Manchester and wanted somewhere local to carry out the lymphatic drainage massages. They are so important in the aftercare for bbl. I went to @touchofhealthspa - highly recommend her!

I’m 6 months post op for both procedures. I never posted a picture of my boobs as I wanted them to drop first. Still love my results for both breast, bum and my stomach. Firstly, let me start by telling you I am the biggest worrier in the world! I’d always thought going abroad for surgery is so dodgy but after doing my research I realised my thoughts were completely wrong! Serbulent was recommended to me by a friend and I came across his clinic on Instagram and then had several conversations on WhatsApp before booking my surgery. From the conversations on WhatsApp, I knew he was the surgeon for me.
When I arrived in Istanbul, it all seemed a bit strange and it wasn’t something I was used to. We arrived at the hospital late and the nurses took my bloods and prepped me for the next day. After a quick sleep, I signed my life away with paperwork and then serbulent came for the consultation and I awaited the surgery. The only annoying thing about this day, is that you don’t know what’s going on. You don’t know you’re surgery time and it’s a waiting game until your turn.
2pm came and it was my turn! I put on my compression socks and went to theatre. I awoke at 8pm, very drowsy and drugged up. I pushed over from the surgical bed to my hospital bed and felt so high for the rest of the evening. The worst bit is later in the evening, you have some soup and attempt to walk. This made me feel very dizzy and warm and I was sick. After that I was scared to move again and stayed in my bed for the rest of the night
In the morning, we had a nice continental breakfast and we got ready to go to the hotel. This is only a stones throw away, but as I was sick yesterday I was so scared to walk again. The patient co-ordinator and the nurse that work for the SG clinic were brilliant and assisted me to the hotel in a wheelchair. Throughout this process, I cannot fault their service. They were both so lovely and their attention to detail was the best.
Once we got to hotel, it was fine. I do not know what I would have done without my boyfriend for the next few days. I could barely sit up and go to the toilet, having someone with me made everything a lot easier. I guess I wasn’t prepared for the discomfort I would feel over the next few days. I knew I would be in pain, but I didn’t know what. It’s just difficult because you can barely walk and feel useless. I doubted my decision but as the days went on, I knew that was just my hormones being crazy.
The nurse and patient co ordinator come to see you everyday and change your drains. They were so kind and would have done anything to make you feel comfortable! On the last day, i walked to the hospital to get the drains removed. Serbulent came to do a final check up and I felt quite dizzy, he told me to look at the Mickey Mouse on his shirt haha! When the drains are removed, you feel 110% better! You feel more free and easy to move.
I’m nearly 4 weeks post op and I’m so happy with the results I can see so far! Although I was so unsure of my decision whilst recovering in turkey, I now feel it’s the best thing I’ve ever done. I love my new body and it’s not even fully healed yet. Would definitely recommend serbulent and his team at the SG clinic. They are all so amazing and lovely people! They even did a follow up on WhatsApp to check I was healing well. I would definitely recommend them to all!
