Sooooo. The last couple weeks I have noticed long tubular shaped hard masses in my right butt cheek only. Painful when pressed or I sit, no pain with standing. I’m worried about fat necrosis. My left side is perfectly soft and natural feeling with no pain. Thinking back I also think it’s weird that in the beginning when I had swelling, my right side was much more swollen and I had worse bruising on my right side. I had even called the doctors office because I was worried about my right side being so much more swollen than my left.
Anyway, aside from this new development I’m pretty happy with my results. I still have that weird fat pocket on my left thigh. I figured I’ll get it fixed with my tummy tuck. I’ve lost 15 pounds since my surgery. Mostly due to being insecure of how big my butt was. After losing weight I’m very happy with my butt. But now my boobs are tiny, so I’m looking into a tummy tuck, breast lift with augmentation.
I’ve decided not to go back to Hazani, just because travel is such a pain in the butt. I’ve already gone back to see him once and I’d like to go back to see him again because of these lumps, I’m really just wishing I would’ve stayed local to begin with. Don’t get me wrong I think he did a great job, if I didn’t have a job and kids I’d travel back-and-forth no problem. But for the next set of Surgeries I’ll be staying in Oregon.
My lipo’d areas are healing nicely. I don’t have much numbness, still have slight tightness and tingling in my flanks. I do have a hard tender spot in my abdomen above my hip bone, but feel it’s getting softer day by day. I’ll keep everyone updated on my right but cheek lumps. I have attached photos of me currently and some with my lumps circled. I’d like to note the lumps are deep and can not be seen.

8.5 weeks post op

So a couple weeks ago I went back down to LA for post op and to show Hazani my weird thigh lump. He said he could fix it that day, but it would be dry liposuction, with no tumescent fluid. I said OK since I’m from Oregon and didn’t want to bother coming back down there. What I did not realize was that this meant no lidocaine. After discussing the procedure with me I still decided to continue and Hazani used a cannula and preformed manual dry liposuction to the lump on my thigh. I’ve given birth to two children, had a kidney stone I got stuck in to the date this is the most painful thing I’ve ever gone through. I was only able to tolerate the procedure for about 10 to 15 minutes, so Hazani could not suck out all the fat that he wanted to. So my options are to come back down and schedule appointment so he can perform lipo to the bulge using lidocaine. I left kind of upset because I don’t understand why he couldn’t give me a couple little lidocaine injections. I know we are pushed for time, but I am a nurse and know that lidocaine does not take long to take affect at all. Anyway I am happy that he acknowledged that the fat pocket was there, and didn’t try to act like it was no big deal. Otherwise I am healing well.
I do want to mention that for the past week my life both areas in my stomach and flanks have been getting really hot. At night when I’m sleeping whatever part I’m laying on feels like it’s burning. I stopped wearing my compression garment due to how hot it made me feel. From what I read online, this is my nerves just firing back up… So I am not worried at all. It does make sleeping on comfortable in my skin feels a little more sensitive. I’m still swollen and still have some hard ridges in my abdomen and groin that Hazani says is perfectly normal for this stage in the healing process. I have included side-by-side’s to show how good of job Hazani actually did. You’re going through it it’s hard to remember what you started from. I’m shocked when I look at my before pictures. It’s only been a couple months, and I’ve already forgotten how fat my midsection actually was.

Oof! That sounds painful but you look great! Especially from behind. It’s barely noticeable now I’d say. I love that he’s willing to fix it for you too, sign of a great doctor. Just got out of surgery myself, it’s not for sissies ☠️ lol

It’s been awhile. Not much to update on. Still sleeping in my stomach and only sitting using my pillow. I still feel firm in my stomach and my groin is still firm and swollen. It’s getting better everyday but I’m excited for the day I feel normal again. My stomach and back are tingly and painful if I don’t have compression on them, so I always wear my garment. My left buttcheek and left hip have big swollen areas I thought might be a seroma. But going back through my pics I notice the lump on my left hip was there immediately after surgery. Im flying to Beverly Hills on the 20th to have Hazani check them out. The one on my hip is so noticeable, when I wear jeans it looks like I have something in my pocket… Doesn’t look right at all.
So really not much change, a little less swollen but still feel firm everywhere that was liposuction. My butt has shrunk a little better still pretty tight… I’m thinking I’ll need to lose about 15 pounds and then maybe then It won’t feel so tight. I have attached pictures just to show the lump on my hip. The bruised up photo is an old one after surgery that I included just to show that the lump was there then. I’ll update with what Hazani says about it.

He agreed it wasn’t right and wasn’t sure what happened. He tried to preform “dry liposuction” on it during our post op visit...but it was so painful that I couldn’t complete the procedure. He says if I want to I can schedule another appointment, where we have more time and he can do it the correct way. But I live in Oregon so it’s not easy for me to do. I may just wait until I decide to get a breast lift and have it fixed then. I did another update if you want to see more recent pictures. You can see the lump is still there on my thigh but it does look better.
