Botched BBL - uneven and aggressive liposuction on my stomach

It took me a long time to get the courage to write this review... it’s been a few years since my BBL with Dr. Patel. I spent months researching the very best plastic surgeons in Beverly Hills and paid for multiple consultations. I wanted to pick the right doctor and I was sold when I saw Dr. Patel’s work. I read every single review on the internet and only had to hesitate when I found out his price was $25,000. Against my better judgement, I went through with the surgery feeling confident that he was the best. That is exactly why I’m writing this review... I don’t want anyone to feel the way that I have felt and end up being botched, having to undergo multiple costly revision surgeries. I would like to start by saying that Dr. Patel did a phenomenal job on my butt. I was fairly small prior to surgery and he did an excellent job on my back side at the expense of my front side. My stomach is an absolute wreck as you can see. When I went to speak with Dr. Patel about this, he seemed confused and said it had to be because my skin shriveled up after surgery, not admitting that it was clear he had performed uneven and aggressive liposuction on my stomach (which anyone could determine with a little bit of sense and an internet search engine). I’ve had 3 additional surgeons in Beverly Hills confirm this, as well. They said it was aggressive lipo and too much fat was taken out. Dr. Patel could only offer me a surgery during which he would simply “detach the skin on my stomach, loosening scar tissue, and lay it back down flat hoping it might look better when it heals” with my cost being $1,000. Thank God I declined because the ONLY chance to “improve” this is through fat grafting and filling the uneven areas with more fat. Once I saved the money, I ended up spending $6,500 for the same doctor who revised Tara Reid’s botched lipo and there was a very slight improvement. I will have to undergo several more surgeries that are stressful and costly if I want to see more improvement but my stomach will never look right. This is something that I now have to be self conscious about and live with everyday. I understand that is the risk of plastic surgery and this happens everyday but you can’t imagine how awful it is until it happens to you. Please be careful and make smart decisions. I don’t doubt that Dr. Patel has done good work by his other reviews but that’s why I chose him and this is what happened to me. My butt looks amazing but I’m devastated with his lack of judgment and carelessness with the liposuction. What is even worse is his inability to fix it or make it right.
