Just Booked my Date 06/30/2020

I was originally looking a Spectrum and 305. Spectrum didn’t have my preferred date. 305 did. I’m partially financing and they add an additional fee for financing. I locked in the date and price for $250. I’m 35 and have 3 kids from 5 years to 13 years old. I’m coming from Atlanta.

So, I found someone to come with me, which is great. I booked a hotel near Miami Intl and planned on taking Uber’s back and forth. I did the math and decided to rent a car. It’ll be $15 per day. I reserved it through Expedia and it is cancelable and I pay when I pick it up. I will get the car from within the terminal versus taking a shuttle to the rental car agency, which would add 30+ minutes to the process. I also ordered Floradix, folic acid, hema-plex and b-12. I’ve been taking them for about a week. My hemo last year was 11.2. So to be proactive, I’m attempting to boost my iron before I do my labs next week.
I feel like communication with 305 sucks, but I’ve seen similar sentiments across various surgery centers in Miami, so I’m not surprised.

I went and did my Lab work at Allcare in Atlanta. I created a Surgery Instagram and found a ton of resources on there. There are multiple mobile lymphatic masseuse and care giver resources on there. I’m financing my procedure and I found getting in touch with 305 complicated. My coordinator hardly responds to my text. I called for the manager or billing twice and was never called back.But again, shoddy communication seems to be a recurring theme amongst Miami plastic surgery.
With me taking Floradix one month before surgery, I got my iron to 12.4.
