BBL surgery UPDATE?100% TRUTH
lbmamiMarch 5, 2021
Okaayyy here it is. I am currently 1 week post op. I just really feel the need to honestly put how my experience was because when i was looking at BBL reviews (not only Dr. Dass) the majority of girls said it was not a big deal recovering and that it was “not that bad” and i think that i seriously had that mentality going into it and the reality was NOT THAT. Obviously everyone is different and everyone heals differently but i’m 31 i have had a c section I have tattoos and piercings and i have broken a bone before so i feel i have a good pain tolerance but this was just NOT EASY and people need to know that. ok anyway so this is how it went from post op to now.
Post op: I went into the office everyone was very friendly and helpful. I met with Dr Dass & showed him some “wish pics” who were actually patients of his who had a similar body type as me and he said he could get me as close to that as possible (and he did )
Day of Surgery: I arrived and i got changed met the nurse, anesthesiologist & Dass. I was in the OR and wha i honestly was not a fan of was that i was talking to the nurse then boom i was out. I would have liked alittle more of a warning. Next thing i know i’m waking up with a different nurse who is helping me get dressed & my fiancé’ was waiting for me downstairs. What i didn’t expect was that i woke up sitting up in a bed. I was expecting to be laying on my stomach but i wasn’t. Then i was wheeled downstairs to my fiancé’s car and layed down in the backseat. I was really out of it the whole day. I didn’t feel “sore” i felt like i was hit by a truck tbh. I was super swollen, it hurt to move and i was heavily bruised. I would HIGHLY suggest hiring a nurse or have more then 1 person there to help
especially if you have kids. I thought i would be fine and just feel like i “worked out hard” but no that was NOT the case. My fiancé had to help me get in and out of bed for 2 days.
Day 2-4:
These days were hard but they got easier as the days went by. You are super swollen and uncomfortable in this garment and itchy and hot on top of it all. DO NOT GET ME WRONG HE DID A GREAT JOB I WILL POST PICS but i’m talking about the recovery here. So i HIGHLY suggest getting overnight pads and cutting them in half and putting them in the top vagina part of the garment because it seriously crushes you right there and it’s so uncomfortable. I also suggest getting a 6 pack of 1 liter water bottles to keep track of water intake and stay hydrated. I didnt drain that much. it stoped day 2
1 week follow up: very fast and easy i did need help getting the faja off and on. My incision holes honestly are bad right now like they are not little dots they look pretty big (i will also post pics of them) so we will see how they end up healing. I saw Dass and he said everything looked good and he isn’t doing 6 week follow ups bc of Covid but to call if anything.
All in all i look GREAT in my opinion. The. double chin lipo IS A MUST AND A GAME CHANGER. i’m 31 and i look like i’m 25 again. Also no more baby pouch ALSO A LOT of other surgeons i got a quote from said i needed a tummy tuck WHICH I DIDNT BC DASS GOT RID OF IT AND MY STOMACH IS FLAT FLAT the main thing i am trying to say is that the recovery is VERY HARD MENTALLY AND PHYSICALLY SO DONT LET THESE girls fool you thinking it’s a piece of cake.
I will post fully healed pics soon oh also i am ordering a custom stage 2 faja because i want to keep my shape

Just did my bbl December of 2021 you are the most honest review I’ve seen and wish I had stumbled upon your review sooner. A bbl is no joke in terms of the recovery process there are definitely ups and down. It is not a walk in the park, but the results are usually worth it. All the best!

Yes stay in a recovery home with certified nurses and definitely ur right this surgery is not for the weak. I am 9 weeks post op and still not recovered. It will take at least 6 mths to heal somewhat
