Hey guys!!
I have my BBL scheduled for 8/15/19 With Dr. Jung in Houston, Texas. I would lie if I am not nervous, I am nervous as HELL!!
Does any male BBL patients have any recommendations or ideas to mentally prep for this procedure?

Hi good luck with your surgery, I am the same. Try and watch some bbl surgery videos the more you know the less anxious you will be. I cancelled my last op through nerves on the day of the procedure but then was annoyed with myself afterwards and had to pay again for another date

YES!!! I would alway watch the "what would go wrong videos" which made it way worse than it needed to be. I am the "what if" type of person and I always like to know what could go wrong But in the end, I stuck it out and did what I had to do.

HEY!!!! Recovery was decent. day 2-5 were hell. Day 7 I was starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel and day 10 -11, I was feeling myself. Now almost 3 weeks PO, I feel great, other than stiffness and numbness from the aggressive lips that Jung performed on my sides/flank and lower back. Lips itch is a [RS bleep] too!!

Hey Keshia, Sorry, I had not checked this site since I posted!
I live in Houston and Jung is based in Houston, so I had a nurse friend help me out for about 4 or 5 days, then I was pretty much good on my own!

Hey RealSelf Fam. I just wanted to post a quick update. Dr Jung and his team took great care of me. Philly will email me on her off days to check up on me. The office and OR was super clean. Dr Jung gives you that sign of relief that all will be okay. He is a DOC that truly cares for his patients and is not concerned about the quick $, like most MIA docs!

Hey FAM!!
I forgot to add that I am about 3 weeks PO and doing great!
I would have to say the PO massages were probably more painful that the actual SX pain. However, once the massage was complete, I felt brand new! I had no SX complications, thanks the Lord. I am just sick and tired of being on my stomach 24/7!
