1 Week Post - No Miracle
When he said there would not be a huge difference, he was not lying. The muffin top above my butt is still there, and that is really the only thing I cared about, but at least it is smaller. The side profiles of my butt look different - the right one is higher and rounder. They look the same from the back, though. My butt was pretty bad before, so I guess it is an improvement. I don't know. I have been doing a lot of crying. It was not worth this pain at all. I am still having trouble sleeping because my body is so sore. All of my incisions seem to have healed. I can walk more and more each day. I don't think this was the right surgery for me because of my loose/saggy skin, but I believe he did his best. All of his other reviews are great, and he told me my body would be difficult, so do not let this discourage you. Maybe it will keep changing as I heal. Also, I know my faja is way too big. I have a new one arriving soon.
First Day Post Operation
I am not going to lie; I am miserable. I am so sore and uncomfortable. I had my 360 lipo and BBL yesterday, and it was painful. Maybe I have a low tolerance for pain. It was local anesthesia, and when he had to go in to numb the fat, I thought I was going to cry. After that, I just felt vibrations. I doubt I will get anymore surgeries, but I would definitely want to be asleep next time. I was very nauseous, and I was throwing up when we got back to our hotel room. I was bleeding so much, I thought my boyfriend was going to pass out haha he hates the sight of it. I did not sleep at all last night. Unfortunately, I have not been able to take pictures yet since I can barely stand without feeling dizzy. From what I can tell, the results are nice. A couple of bruises. My butt is hard. I did not get a faja; they wrapped me in an abdominal binder. I will upload pictures as soon as I can.
BBL - Praying for a Miracle.
A few years ago, I lost about 100 lbs with ridiculous diets and a lot of cardio. Due to the rapid weight loss, I was left with very loose and saggy skin. I have always been unhappy with my body, but I can't even look in the mirror now. My anxiety and insecurities basically keep me in the house. I literally cried when I had to take pictures or get undressed. I just want a body that I feel comfortable in.
I found Dr. Kalsow from a review on here, and after two consultations, I have decided to trust him with my BBL surgery. He was very honest about my loose skin, not having a lot of fat, and the results not being dramatic (confirmed by another surgeon). I told him that the most important thing to me is getting rid of the muffin top hanging over my hips/butt so that I can have a smooth shape. Whatever fat is taken from the 360 lipo can then be used to round out my butt. I don't need or want a big butt; I just want to have a "normal" looking body. He said he can do that, and he thinks I will be happy with the results.
The wait times were minimal, his staff is friendly, he answered all of my questions, and the price is affordable. Be sure to speak up and tell him (or any surgeon) what you want so that he can tell you whether or not it is possible.
My surgery is scheduled for 11/28/2020, and I am excited and terrified. I am constantly looking up videos on recovery and things I need to buy, so any tips are appreciated. I just started taking vitamins with iron, folic acid, vitamin c, and B12 for healthy blood. I hope this will be the start of my journey to self-love.
Please pray for me!
