Tomorrow’s the day— hopefully!

$6,000
Ahhh it’s 11 PM in Santo Domingo and I have my pulmonary test tomorrow morning at 8 AM. To say that I’m not nervous or scared would be a lie and I want nothing more than to pass so I don’t have to book another flight to get back here. I’ve been listening to Dr. Ulerio’s advice and eating my respiratory medications as well as decongestants and allergy pills. I called my doctor at home and I have asthmatic allergies which means I’m highly sensitive to changes in humidity, pollution levels, and whatever other allergies I have. I wish the pulmonary specialist would keep this in mind... maybe I’ll mention it tomorrow. I think the symptoms have been under control as of late since I’m not coughing or having a harder time breathing. I’ve also been practicing breathing though my stomach and diaphragm to maximize lung capacity since that’s what they suggested in an educational video about pulmonary respiratory tests. I showered and washed my body three times with the antibacterial soap Dr. Ulerio asked me to buy, cleaned myself up with alcohol, then applied antibacterial cream in my belly button and nose as instructed. I have to do this again tomorrow morning too! I really pray, wish, and hope everything goes well tomorrow so I can have this surgery. I’m going to sob if it doesn’t happen ????????????????????

it's gonna happen! pray for the best! I know it's frustrating, but I'd much rather him be safe. it seems like he's taking precaution. how's the Dominican Republic thus far? how do you like your air bnb. you actually gave me the bomb ass idea to get one
just waiting on your update like ....... lol! hope all is well doll
I can write an ESSAY about today. I failed the exam but it’s because of asthmatic allergies so I booked $500 one way flight back to San Francisco which was overpriced and unexpected. GIRL. An Uber driver literally kept rubbing my shoulder and flirting with me on our drive to SDQ so I got off in the middle of nowhere and called another car. I ended up missing my initial flight so I’m currently waiting in Miami in a layover. When is your surgery? I came alone but met some new people but it’s still super scary navigating certain parts of the city if you’re not fluent in Spanish. I can understand and speak at 70% but it was still hard cause slang is so different.
Oh no! I'm so sorry to hear that. I'm disappointed for you. everything happens for a reason right!? My surgery is scheduled for July 18th. Both of my parents are from the Dominican Republic so I still have family out there ( my cousin is actually a MD there and recommend Ulerio). I'm fluent so I'll definitely be good. I haven't been to Dr in like 10 years and I've heard things have really changed and progressed so we'll see! are you planning on going back anytime soon?
Maybe! I’m starting an internship soon so I won’t likely have the time but I’ll be back sometime within the next 6 months hehe. Keep me posted with your surgery!!!
Hello how was your experience did it go well?
I just want to say something. Dr. Ulerio AND Surgicoordinators tell you ahead of time to stop doing drugs, alcohol and all related things well before the surgery. This is a commitment. They are looking out for YOU! I just had surgery with Dr. Ulerio and I can tell you that I went through that same battery of tests. You cannot play around. If he had operated on you with your diminished lung capacity, you would have run the risks of ending up DEAD! Anesthesia decreases lung capacity and it can trigger a cardiac arrest in some cases. Since you already had lung issues BEFORE the surgery, you are more likely to face problems after. Dr. Ulerio KNOWS this. This is why you had to stop smoking weed and cigarettes and get your asthma and allergies under absolute control. I know it is frustrating, but the LAST thing you want is to have a good looking BUTT and be DEAD! Operating on a person with diminished lung capacity is a real risk. DO YOUR HOMEWORK on that so you can see what happens. Don't take my word for it.
How did your surgery go

Blood results + preparing for pulmonary test

I called Maria, Dr. Ulerio’s assistant who needs a raise cause she literally runs the entire office, and turns out my blood results are perfect. She says that I don’t have to do bloodwork, X-rays, or the ultrasound again for three months if I end up not passing the pulmonary test. She calmed me and told me that everything will be okay as long as I think positively! So I’m definitely trying to but I’m still super nervous that I won’t get to have surgery this time around which means an added $1000 to rebook a flight back with housing. I’ve been taking the medication the specialist prescribed and I’m praying that everything works out cause my dear I want this so badly for myself. Send me good vibes and wishes and prayers or whatever is in your arsenal! There are so many mosquitos here btw and I’ve gotten over 15 bites ahhh.

so you won't be getting surgery may 2nd as you expected?
I misread! hopefully all goes well and you will be able to get your surgery. Again, I was a little skeptical about booking with him but I put down my deposit yesterday and feel confident about his work as well as his wort ethic. I cannot wait to see your before and after! you go this!
I’m so excited for you!! Make sure you add him on WhatsApp as well as his assistant because that’s the fastest way they both respond.

Don’t [RS bleep] smoke before surgery!!!!

Ok so I smoked weed once and I ended up paying $180 for additional tests along with the expected blood work and X-rays. I met up with a respiratory specialist and ended up FAILING a breath test that measures lung capacity. I never had asthma in my life but the humidity in the DR definitely has been making an impact on my body. The doctor prescribed some respirator as well as medication to help alleviate the tension on my lungs. I had surgery schedule for 4/27/2018 but now I have to wait until 5/1/2018 for the test, assuming I pass the respiratory test. I’m [RS bleep] annoyed cause the mediation and respirator ended up costing $200 and I also chose to do laser lipo which increased my total cost of surgery to $6000. I wish I could have predicted these set backs in advance but that’s life. Right? Wish me the best of luck!

good to know as I'm a pretty regular weed smoker. I definitely think you're in good hands. His work is subtle yet sexy and he seems to be taking precaution! I'm praying all goes well for you doll!
This is good to know!
