WORTH IT
I cannot express enough gratitude and thanks to Dr. Balgobin and his staff for the amazing care I received. Dr. B is extremely knowledgeable and took care to make sure I was comfortable throughout the entire process, from consult, preparation, surgery, to after care. He and his staff were (and still are) always available to answer any questions or concerns I might have about the procedure. After the care I received, I can truly say I never would have done things any other way. I chose to stay at the recovery house (Tamika was a god send) where I was completely taken care of after surgery. I am now 5 months post op and still cannot believe how amazing my results are as they continue to improve (both because of the decreased swelling and J plasma skin tightening). I had consulted with other physicians who suggested a tummy tuck, but I wasn’t willing to do this. J plasma is definitely an add on I would recommend ladies!!!! I completely and utterly recommend Dr Balgobin and his team.

You look amazing! I’m having a consult with dr Balgobin and I was wondering what your experience at their recovery house was.. was the room & bathroom shared?

I honestly can’t imagine having done it any other way! Tamika took care of me and was amazing. She attended to my every need. There were multiple bathrooms and it was a shared situation but was not an issue at all. I don’t think I could have had anyone with me that would have known what to do bc there is a significant amount of pain and decreased mobility after. Tamika basically waited on me hand and foot and cooked healthy meals to make sure I regained my strength.

So - I actually still have some swelling, but my results have continued to improve. I still wear my Faja. The pictures should show my most recent update at 5 months. I really haven’t worked out much either, but I intend to start a more regular routine. One thing to be aware of is if you have cellulite, you’ll still have it. Mine improved post op but is still there

I thought the swelling goes down after about 3 months.. It’s a long recovery process indeed! You look amazing despite the swelling :)

So I was wondering..I’m scheduled in May and was wondering how was the flight back if u were an out of state patient... I have a 4hr flight back to LAX

So - the flight back wasn’t terrible. I called the airport beforehand and asked for a wheelchair. Dr B also provides you with a letter to assist getting you through surgery so you don’t have to take your Faja off or stand to go through scanners. The wheelchair was the best thing - definitely ask for help because you will get worn out quick! I had a layover and had to switch planes and it was fine. There was some pain but not bad.

12,000 with the house stay. I got free j plasma bc of a promotion. I recommend taking out more bc you will need to do weekly lymphatic massages for a while and deal with aftercare, such as new fajas, etc

My stomach is similar to yours and they keep saying tummy tuck which I don’t want either do you have no loose skin standing up?

I was told tummy tuck initially. I still have a little loose skin where my stretch marks are, but it’s very minimal. J Plasma continues to improve over a course of 9 months I think???? I’m pretty happy with the results, especially bc I didn’t have to go through the full tummy tuck.

Hi! Now that you're over a year post op can I ask your final opinion on j plasma? I was told I wasn't a candidate for a tummy tuck even after losing over 100lbs (not enough loose skin) and was recommended j plasma instead but there's not a ton of info on it.
