My bbl experience, plus what people don’t tell you 7 days post opp

WORTH IT$3,300
I was very nervous about travelling abroad for surgery as you read so many horror stories, but I Can’t recommend Dr Gökhan Haytoglu enough!!
I am now 1 week post bbl and already LOVING my results.
Dr Gökhan is very well spoken and his English is incredible. He was so knowledgable and professional throughout my whole procedure.
I went along to my consultation with images of how I wanted my body to look and a list of things I wanted to say to him. However, none of it was needed. He knew exactly what needed doing, he saw the exact areas that needed improving just as I did and made me feel so comfortable throughout.
Not once did I feel nervous about the procedure I was about to have, only excitement.
Don’t get me wrong, there is absolutely NOTHING. Glamorous about the recovery of this procedure. I am swollen and bruised and a little uncomfortable but it is ALL worth it!
I had read so many reviews and news articles and watched so many vlogs and I thought I new what to expect from my recovery and the things that people don’t tell you are..
- After surgery your face swells up from all the water retention and drugs ( I think this is also because you lie flat on your stomach so you don’t kill any of the newly deposited fat cells in your bum and hips) so the first time I went to the bathroom after surgery I was horrified cause I looked like elephant man. However, as my nurse assured me after two days my swelling had completely gone and my face was back to normal.
- Your hooha (pubic bone and vagina) is also extremely swollen and bruised from the incisions and liposuction, day 7 and bruising is subsiding but the swelling is still very much there, this is also something that goes back to normal.
Don’t get me wrong, neither of those things are major issues but if someone had of told me before that my face would swell and it would be normal I’d have been a hell of a lot less panicked when I saw my reflection in the mirror.
I had drains after my BBL which helps prevent any excess fluid from gathering in the areas of liposuction. After 3 days my drains were ready to be removed ( this was the part I was dreading) yet again Dr Gökhan made me feel so relaxed and I didn’t feel a thing, before I knew it the drains had been removed and the remaining incisions were bandaged.
Don’t get me wrong I know everyone has different pain thresholds and different experiences but I have to say.. it is all worth it and really not that painful, the best way to describe the pain would be like day 2 after a tough gym session, it mainly just feels like muscle soreness.
By day three post BBL I was walking (waddling) around the blue mosque with my boyfriend sightseeing with a figure I had dreamt about.
I am now back home in the UK resting up and healing nicely it’s amazing to see your body improve every day as the swelling goes down, even though I am swollen my results are incredible and I now have that SNATCHED little waist and curvy hips and bum.
I would highly recommend Dr Gökhan and his team to anyone wanting to undergo surgery and I am already wanting to go back to him to get my boobs redone after experiencing cosmetic surgery both in the UK and abroad I wouldn’t hesitate about travelling to Turkey again. I found everyone even more attentive than they would be here and just so keen to help with anything that you need.
Any questions people have please don’t hesitate to ask, I will upload some more photos shortly of my 7days post op.

I hear great things about the co-ordinator and Dr Gokhan but would like some harsh truths about the recovery and the hotel as that is where i will be most of the trip? also if im going alone, will I be able to go for a walk alone? and what about painkillers? I read that comfortzone post op hospital care, didnt give one lady any pain killer for the first night!
